Grainger beat CAK 61-37 early in the season. How will the Cyclones respond? Will they be looking ahead the the burg?

 

I am going with Elizabethton by 15. They are playing well and have a lot of talent. I like their chances to win it all. If there was a Vegas line on it, I would bet your guys are favored to win it all.

Should be fun! I still remember Hammaker scoring about 40 on a very good Elizabethton team when she was an 8th grader, so I would strongly advise the Lady Cyclones to stay focused and to play great team defense.

this Elizabethton team will not let that happen. It was 32 not 40. This group of sophomores are amazing from the 6th grade to their freshman year they never lost a basketball game. They swarm relentlessly and can go 5 or 6 deep from the bench. It will be a good game but won't be close.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
