MAHS vs Trezevant @ Melrose Stadium, Thursday Night

This is a BIG Region 7, 2A game between the two top dogs in that region. MAHS is 4-2 on the season, with both of those losses coming against 5A Brighton and 5A Overton. Trezevant is 3-2 on the season with one loss coming at the hands of MS 6A Southaven and the other loss coming at the hands of D2-2A Ensworth. This game is being played at Halle which means that it's basically a neutral site.

Trezevant will win 35-6

Last season, Trezevant won their 4 region games by a combined score of 178-12 (44.5-3.0 per game).  I have seen no indication that this season will be any different.  Trezevant wins this game, and every region game, by as many points as their coach allows. Trezevant and MAHS may be the two "Top Dogs" in this region.  The only problem is that one dog is a Pit Bull and the other dog is a Poodle.  Trezevant would get a better workout by having a full contact scrimmage among themselves.

MAHS is the underdog in this game that's true. But, last year, Trezevant struggled in the playoffs with Manassas. It's not out of the realm of possibility that MAHS makes this game competitve.
