  1. You never said anything for anyone to believe you were counting them out... as you said.
  2. As long as supporting points are down near fall can be counted . As soon as supporting points are lifted the wrestlers are blown out of bounds the same as a takedown at the line With only the toes inbounds. That's what us officials were told at the state meeting .
  3. Toes have never counted as supporting points. Only as a way to score a takedown at the line. Heels don't count either.
  4. Yes I agree with your statement 100%! I was saying the same thing to some of the other officials on Saturday! Absolutely no issues at all with scorekeepers and time.
  5. Yes we can see the percentages Bump;)
  6. I have a pic of the 160 lb class placers but not sure how to post it here.
  7. Yes you are correct. It was Cheatham County not Sycamore. Does anyone know how tough of a division the ISHA Class A is to place in?
  8. Does anyone know anything about the kid from Chattanooga Central Alonzo Heyward that won state at 160 pounds? He absolutely cleaned up and his finals match. I would love to see him and Sells from Blackman square off in a dual! Also did anyone else know about the former Sycamore wrestler Jedi Willis that he took home fourth place at the Illinois State Wrestling Championships this week at 160 also?
  9. Does anyone know what teams will be attending this tournament this weekend?
  10. Very well said, I am an official and I was there watching this as it happened. The official in question was a new official. From where I was sitting on the backside watching.... my thoughts were I hope he calls that, because I knew him being a 1st year official, he might question himselph whether or not this was executed with excessive force or not. I was very pleased that he did in fact call the illegal slam. Or he could have called unnecessary roughness. With his opponent not being able to continue either call would have ended with a win for the injured wrestler. As for officials or this particular official working not for the love of the sport or just officiating for financial gain...... ALL of the officials at this particular tournament were VOLUNTEERING their time to raise money for a family injured in a car wreck in Williamson County. One fatality. Not sure that statement holds water, if you're referring to the official in this match.
  11. I think I can clearly be seen sitting far side of the mat observing this match. ( the bald official sitting) . From my vantage point clearly an illegal slam. The right call was made.
  12. Where are the results for this tournament posted?
  13. Does anyone know if there is a link to follow the tournament results?
  14. In my opinion...Hooker has been the best wrestler in the state 2 years running! He is a monster on the mat. There has to be somewhere we can see these results..... can someone post them? wrestlinggod? Anybody?
  15. WHAT TIME DOES WRESTLING START?
  16. I just gave you seven great reasons why I loved this venue!
