I'll take Greenfield in this one. Greenfield beat a very good USJ team saturday night at the Westview Thanksgiving Classic. I will say this, if the game is in the upper 20's to low 30's, I like Gleason. If it gets in the upper 30's or above, Greenfield has the edge. Gleason just has a tough time scoring points.......... It ought to be an interesting season. To me, there is no clearcut favorite. Athleticism goes to Dyersburg. Obion will go as far as Roney takes them. Milan with Poston and Gray playing to their potential will be tough to beat on any night. Dyer County will win some games they're not supposed do to Cupples and company's shooting. Crockett County is down a little but you never know. Gibson County, with Butler, Pate and company, will be tough come February. Westview will only be as good as the help they give Rechis. 1. Milan 2. How close is, as to who has a club memberships, checked??? Is Memphis Flight one club and Team Memphis Elite another? Is the trotters the same as the flight? Just asking.......................

I'm convinced that the only reason some of these guys are even in this is for themselves, and money is a huge part of it. TN AAU has also become a huge who's ___ do I kiss today club......And if your not kissing, your screwed.......... Who gives a crap if you win an award like the Elite are boasting about? The law of averages says with as many teams as the elite has your bound to win enough........Only two clubs in the state have such large numbers of teams to even compete for such an award. And if I was to ask some of the Elite coaches, they would probably say that the support they get from their club senior staff is very minimal because there to busy kissing the big man's ____ in the boro..........

I wandered how long you would be able to hold back from saying something about that................however i don't think the fish are biting to well ............it again proves that you still have a bur under your saddle.........your level of class continues to diminish drastically.........

Upon speaking with ParisRiverRat, he has informed me that he would consider it if and only if GFF would become the not-so-haevyd of greenfield basketball. However, he also told me he is still upset and in complete shock that the bypass went through Greenfield. He promises to never buy gas in Greenfield ever again..... As to the GFF's comments on "sights set a littler higher," the riverrat, being a UTM graduate (NCAA) says maybe a Union (NAIA) graduate would be better suited for the job. By the way the coacht check from the riverrat is in the mail and responses will gladly be made soon....

They were posted on the Memphis Lady Elite Website, but laqst minute changes were made and I don't think the accurate brackets were put back up. In some people's mind, to use the old saying, this ia a David vs Goliath matchup. Northside returns 3 of their 5 starters off of the state runner-up team from last year as well as thier top scorers. Westview returns one starter. Matchup problems are obvious, as Northside will have the inside advantage. This one could get ugly.......quickly.......but I have heard there could be some help for the Lady Chargers from high atop the rafters at Gibson County High School Tuesday night....stay tuned...

There is no doubt after last night that anything can and will happen this time of year. I've seen it consistently over the past 5 years, mainly in regional play. (Covington over Westview regional final 2002; Haywood over Westview regional quarterfinal 2004, Haywood over Gibson County regional quarterfinal 2005, Obion over Westview regional semifinal 2006, 2007 ???????????) No team should take the other for granted no matter what your seed and whether or not you are supposed to win....
