can anybody confirm that riverdale is playing @ brighton or is brighton coming to the boro? the 2012 calender i have says riverdale @ brighton but the schudule on the website says brighton is coming to the boro http://riverdalewarriors.com/football/schedule/varsity-schedule.html

i agree with you scott these announcers only do it once a year and dont see any high school games through out the year, i would say the mark howard group is the worst on whitehavens opening drive mark said that whitehaven opened last week with a 70 yard play last week against riverdale but in reality whitehaven played mt juliet the week before not riverdale, mark said the maryville rb prevo was a sr that the coaching staff was eyeing since pee wee football, now i dont see a whole lot of east tn football here in middle tn but i remembered from last year that prevo is a sophomore, and then dyson mumbles on and i dont even know what hes saying half the time now with that being said i enjoyed the mike keith and larry stone broadcasts, they may not see very many high school football games but they seemed prepared before the game and didnt just say stuff like they just read it off a cue card or just happened to glance at a murphy fair book how about adding dennis weaver and the friday night thunder crew to call games? i just want somebody who knows what they are talking about calling the games

does anybody know if their are gonna be charter buses headed to maryville? if not what time is everybody leaving the boro? either way id just like to head down 40 with other fans

might wanna get your facts correct before you run your mouth! i wasnt even talking about maryville i was making the case that if 7aaa could stock pile a team it would be loaded but the talent is spread across rutherford cty

now i guess 7aaa could stack a team instead of splitting across the 6 schools buuuut........ rutherford cty doesnt have open enrollment instead of having one powerhouse team the talent is spread across the board and every friday night theirs a big game in rutherford cty, just a great atmosphere for friday nights

maybe the t$$aa is still paying attorney fees from that decade long court battle with BA? just dont see how the t$$aa gets 50% of the gate, maybe 50% get you the best refs for playoff football.... well unless it goes to OT then the refs make it up as they go

keep in mind siegels 3 losses this year are by a combined 10 points, 2 of those in ot and the other one by 6 points to district 7 aaa champ riverdale

the smyrna coach was thanking the officials for calling such a great game! the smyrna coachs knows by playing in 5 ot games this year that not all of the t$$aa officials dont always know the rules

from nashville take i 24 east to the hwy 99 "new salem exit" head south make a left at the first redlight and you will be on warrior dr go around the curve and the school will be on your left even if mathers backs out of ole miss i doubt he will be in orange, you look at how the coaching staff at ut has handled the last big star from this area "rod wilks" and you add mathers and wilks have had the same hc in high school........ just dont see it happening!

ummm i havent heard any coachs here in rutherford county in favor for what we have now, they just say the schdule is what it is which everybody here consistantly plays teams out of district in the top 10 because other teams coachs wanna schdule wins so we play the teams from other districts nobody else wants to play or the private schools along with williamson county teams "thanks coach crawford who consistantly schdules 2 or 3 from rutherford cty each year" and less travel now jet did you read my post about schools in this district and travel? if we arent traveling to the memphis area chatt or knoxville we are traveling out of state does anybody know when the new stewarts creek high school will open?

6 classifications = more money for the t$$aa, and then they go up on the price of playoff games and the championship game last year the tssaa isnt gonna go back they arent gonna lose money, my question is what are they doing with this extra money from the playoffs are they putting a deposit to play championship games at lp field like most states who have nfl stadiums and makes more since to have the championship games in middle tn for teams traveling from west tn and east tn butt....... they cant do that they have a deal with cookeville for what else more money but remember the tssaa is all about whats best for the kids now this 6 classification has killed teams where i live "rutherford county" in reguards of schduling, went from having 8 teams in region to 6 teams in a district that means they have to find 5 non district games to play it was hard enough to find 3 non district games to play but 5 thats half the games and teams arent wanting to schdule them because other teams are wanting to schdule wins and to go with it the teams that will play rutherford county teams are a good distance away, riverdale had to play in ky this year next year they travel to west tn to play brighton along with smyrna who has to go to olive branch miss, blackman who makes 2 trips to the chattanogga area to play bradley central and signal mountain, oakland has to travel to arlington, siegal has to travel to ooltewah, lavergne to knoxville for cak

really....... you havent had to pay to park????? seems like ive been payin to park @ riverdale for the past 3 years now, i always parked on the east side of the stadium dont know if that makes a difference, i believe the money goes to rotc if i remember rite

and dont forget about the $1 parking at oakland and riverdale, lucky for me i live across the street from riverdale now and walk to the game and save a buck lol

i recorded this game on my dvr last night and just finished watching it, looked like bc's qb looked better in this game then the espn one for cleveland also #5 for bc is a player horrible call on the td "that was not" in the 2nd qtr, was right in front of the official idk what he was looking at unless he was looking at the cleveland player waving his arms incomplete and took his word for it lol

about the fan support, its hard to support on the north side of the county when football from the next exit south is a step above them and not only that lavergne has not established a winning tradition 23 years now that the school has been in existance its tough lavergne had a playoff team in the mid 2000s with chris gray, arod and tillery and made the playoffs but ended up falling to their rival smyrna on their championship run in 06 hope yall enjoyed yalls time in rutherford couty and good luck to yall next week against alcoa and into the playoffs
