CAK is not a bad team but they couldn't win in region 3-4A. Powell will suffer tremendously this year. Where are all of the Panther nation followers?

hardtackle, I totally agree with you. Isn't right to let them come out after a team has been working out all summer. But I bet you could find an argument with the small schools who don't have 50-60 players on there team.

Didn't there used to be a female kicking coach in college football? I think she either coached at Auburn or Alabama.

Somebody must help me. Who decides what offense and defense to run, the head coach or the coaching staff? Most always it is the head coach's call. Now who decides whether or not the offense is good for the players that you have? Usually the parents or a SIBLING that is/was mad at the offense he played in or didn't play in? Let the coach's decide who, what, why, when to play. Let the parents but a ticket to the games. Let the players play their buts off and win the game. The problem is all of the know it alls want to control the people who do know what they are doing(the coach's). I heard a coach from the NFL or college say, let coach's coach and let players make plays, all the rest is just BS.

I think a better question would be ow many college or pro coaches NEVER coached in hs. I think a requirement ought to be you have to had coached in hs before you can coach in a college. Why? If you never coached in hs have you ever mowed the grass, painted lines on the field, washed and cleaned jersyes, ordered uniforms 7 other euipment?

Is the Tuesday scrimmage at Catholic? Is it right that it is a 3 way scrimmage including Rockwood? Post the starting time please.

Hey, lets try this...what until after we go to DB and kick there buts, before we start tooting our whistles about this year. If the players and coachers keep working hard, we will have a great year.

I know of no team that employs a true 2 platoon system and has won the state championship. That is still the goal isn't it? Or does Coach Lowe just trying to keep little Buddy and his pappy happy by going with this system? You better have 22 PLAYERS and not just 22 bodys.

Why don't you call Coach Julian and ask him how many passes were called in their games last year. I don't think you can just count the attempts + completions + int. Dont you have to count the sacks and the qb runs when passes were called to find out how many times they CALLed passes. It would be interesting to know how many passes were called for Halls, Central, Maryville for the regular season only. I might add that I think Coach Ward is an excellent coach and calls the plays that he thinks will work.

hey fellers, We can pass block just fine, if we need to. When you can pound the rock like we can, why screw it up trying to pass 50 times a game? Have you seen the new Halls High School website? It is neat. Shows workout times, information about all 5 scrimmages, jamboree, varsity, jv & freshmen schedule. I'll be glad when everything is up & running.

I thought the rule says no indoor facilities can be used. Now you can have a football camp outside, but to do it inside you must get T$$AA to approve it ahead of time.

Well the dead period is fast approaching and I have a question. Where will we send our players to work out for the next three weeks? I have heard our attendance for the summer has been good and I know we dont wont to lose three weeks of work, so where will we send'em? 2 more months - I cant wait.
