Looking forward to watching this one today. Hixson wins the district tonight. They have a little more talent than Central. Central has had a respectable season considering the amount of players they lost last year and before the year even started this season.

Boyd will win this one by a comfortable 5-6 run margin.

Didnt realize you coached but anyway am glad you dont overuse your kids. Every 5 days is ok but I saw one week where the kid started 3 times in 8 days. That's just asking for problems. Im living proof of arm problems. I went through elbow and shoulder surgery back in the day and it's not very fun.

Bradley Central has a good team. The kid that came from Soddy Daisy really helped their staff out this season as well. That is one tough district they play in as well. Coach Adams does a fine job with them year in and year out.

As you should be but I believe you will win over Silverdale by a comfortable 5-6 runs. Silverdale had a very good ball club last year as well. I am pulling for you.

70 innings in Tennessee for the regular season is a very very high amount. The kid from Gordon Lee throwing 70 innings isnt near as bad seeing how Georgia starts playing weeks before Tennessee. 70 innings for the regular season is ridiculous and I hate to see the kid being taken advantage of in that way. I too agree that he will be an even better college pitcher because he will be somewhere that doesnt overuse his terrific ability.

It looks like all of those innings finally wore out the young man's arm this season. I hope a college coach takes a chance on him and develops him correctly and takes care of his great arm in the process.

I havent heard much about Tyner's flame thrower lately. Is he hurt after all of the pitching from the season?

I was planning on going to watch Tyner play McCallie today but it looks like that game won't be happening. I was counting on Butler pitching again vs the Tornado. This would have probably been his first of three starts this week or at least the first of two.

Have you seen that ace at Tyner? The kid is good from what I saw but that coach needs to be educated on how much is too much for a kid. Im afraid they are putting his future in jeopardy with pitching the kid complete games 2-3 times per week. I'm an old pitcher myself and I can tell you from experience. Those days of throwing 2-3 times per week is bad for kids. They will be like me one day and do good to play catch with their own kids. Its ashame. Someone please educate that bunch over there.

I keep up with AA more but you named off almost every team in the districts. lol Surely they all arent capable of winning the district. I have only seen a couple of these teams play this year.

What do the district standings look like now? Central, Hixson, Tyner and Red Bank all look to be really similar teams except for the fact that Tyner throws their best kid like 2-3 times each week. I have seen this kid twice and he has exceptional stuff but they are killing him pitching him 100 plus pitches 2-3 times a week. That kid's parents need to come down on whoever is allowing that to happen.

Boyd is loaded every year in 1A baseball. They just simply reload. They are my favorite to make it to the state tournament from this area. Good luck

I have been looking at the box scores and notice its routine for him to have at least 2 complete games per week. It looks like they are giving him 48 hours of rest between 125 pitch appearances. Ridiculous if you ask me.

This one got my attention too, but Tyner is abusing this kid. He pitches complete games 2-3 times a week. He has almost double the innings pitched as any other pitcher in Chattanooga. Talented kid, but its ashame they are abusing his arm this way.

Don't know about Boeck being the best coach in the valley. He hasn't really proved anything on the field. Now, if you are talking about a krystal eating contest then he might be the best we have. He can put away 25 gut bombs with cheese with no problem at all. Marion County has the best freshman class the valley has ever seen so they have no excuses now. 4 state championships for the boys.

UTC wrestling continues to make impressive hires. The coach they got from Cleveland will do outstanding in Chattanooga.
