  1. Has anyone herd anything about the border bowl?.. Players in it? Coaches? still being played at University of Cumberlands?
  2. Seymour 1-4...Sevier Co 3-2..Whats your thoughts going into it?..
  3. Cak offense looks good... Cak defense looks not so good.. Yeah their a good team.. But unfortunetly they have to play alcoa.. And alcoa will smash them once again and even worse this year
  4. Actually it was 2-1 Seymour.. I agree though Loudon looked better up front but Seymour had the edge on skills positions..Both teams should do wll this year..
  5. I herd number 5?the Mason kid got kicked off? Any word on that.. I think the Goins kid had some good combines.. But from the Jeff Co team i saw last year..5 and 33 and 6 were by far the best on the field..
  6. Catholic wins in a close one. West is overrated and when Catholic comes to play they can be really good. I would like to see West pull it off though. Good luck Trojans! Kc-24 Mo West-14
  7. Re: Maryville at Farragut Postby AdmiralDude » Wed Oct 14, 2009 10:53 am Farragut wins by 2 or 3 touchdowns. Those kids over at Maryville are in big trouble this week. They will be out coached by Farragut and definitely put classed. Quarels is a terrible coach and has run that program down the toilet. Farragut has a such better history and past than Maryvile, especially in recent years. Maryville has been the laughing stock of East Tennessee football the in the past. So I think this one will not be anywhere close to a ball game. Farragut-45 Maryville-10 Shows how good your predictions are.
  8. AdmiralDude, are you in FarragutUniversity brothers cause you to are the cockiest people in the world. I also recall Farragut fans predicting a blowout aginst Maryville. Saying they couldn't hang with the big boys. Well not only did they hang with the BIG BOYS out in Farragut. They beat em! Now back to the game. If Farragut goes into the game with the same attitude as some of their fans thinking its going to be a blowout they will get beat. If they play like their capable of they should win in a good one. Not trying to offend the Farragut Fans cause most of you have class.
  9. This game should be a good one! IMO, East has to much speed for Boone. I know boone has a great D but, I don't think they have anyone that can run with 1,2,10 and if Ricker is healthy at qb Tee Howell will be lined up every where. East almost beat a very good Sevier Co team without Tee, so I think they finally got things clicking. Now East won't be able to stop Boone's offense either, but I think they can limit them enough to get a win. I would like to see Boone prove me wrong though. Good luck blazers! East 28 Boone 21
  10. Both teams are coming off hard losses over rival schools. Seymour lost 23-24 in double over time against Sevier co. They went into a hostile environment and played toe to toe with a very good Sevier co team. They showed a very balanced offense being able to run and throw the ball well. The defense did a great job considering the position they were put in. Sevier co started about 80% of their drives inside the Seymour 50 because of the great returns they had on special teams. I know M East has alot of team speed. They have Tee Howell which is probably the best athlete in the IMAC conference. A good explosive offense with several play makers that could take it to the house at any givin time. Their defense is allowing about 33 points a game. Help fill me in East fans! Good luck to both teams I hope you have a good safe game. Go Eagles!
  11. Yeah that would be nice. I can't remember the last time Seymour won twice in a row. it should be a great game. Seymours defense has did a great job so far. Their offense has struggled but Sevier Co has had some problems defending the Wing T. Good luck to both teams. Go eagles!
  12. I think if sevier co overlooks them it could backfire.
  13. Idk if M-East defense can hold up.Should be a good one East 21 West 24
  14. Its finally Friday! I look forward to coming up and seeing a great game. Good luck to both teams I hope you have a safe game.
  15. Seymour is coming off a huge a win over Heritage. They finally got to show people how good they can really play. Things for Jeff Co are not looking good. A team that has showed they can play, but have a big problem holding on to the ball. It should be a really physical football game. Seymour 21 Jeff Co 14 Good luck to both teams. Go eagles!
  16. Seymour did struggle early with the passing game. They have a new startin qb now that has looked really good. He's number 17 and cocke co was his first varsity start. They only threw the ball 3 times last week cause they got up so quick but completed all 3. Its really not much to say cause it was cocke co but I guess will find out this week.
  17. Gibbs really hasn't played anyone yet as near as good as grace. So I think it's hard to pick. Gibbs 21 Grace 24 Good luck to both teams.
  18. A-E has to much speed and is coming off a huge win. A-E 26 Catholic 21
  19. Seymour vs Heritage!!! Its always a good one. Heritage, New coach, New System, Heritage is 3-0 and has all the confidence in the world. They have a good balanced offense that can really wear down a defense. Seymour is coming off a big win even though it was Cocke co. They have struggled on both sides of the ball but are finally getting it together. Seymour is a very well conditioned team but has about 6 players going both ways which will play a factor. It should be a good one! Seymour 24 Heritage 21 Good luck to both teams i hope you have a safe game.
  20. One positive thing I did see in jeff co fri night was a team that played hard. They were full speed every single play whether it was a good play or a bad play. If they can minimize the mistakes and stop the big plays i see a great football team. good luck this season.
  21. My hands go out to Cak. Especially Cak's qaurterback. Now on the subject of Nick Smith. I hate When people blame the game on the refs and this is not what I'm trying to do. Nick Smith was held multiple times against Cak though. He got in the backfield alot that night but #2 had great pocket presence. #2 found his recievers very quick which made it alot harder on the D-line. Cak's recievers amazed me too. Seymour had some huge shot on the recievers but they managed to hold on to the ball.My hands go out to Cak great game and good luck this season.
  22. If D-b is as bad a tackling as they sound Clinton should have a huge night. Hazlehurst and Stone are very hard to bring down.It might be a long night for D-b. Clinton 24 D-B 21
  23. It will a grat test to Seymours D-backs. The past few yeas that has been their weakness. This year is the best D-backs we have had in a while. Seymours D-line will have to get after the qb. Nick Smith will have to have a big game which I think he will cause he hasn't met anyone that could stop him yet. If the D-backs can get some big shots on them recievers early to try to get in their head cause Cak has a great recieving group. Seymours keys to winning 1.No turnovers 2.Be hysical 3.Pressure Qb Caks 1.No turnovers 2.Offensive line 3.Big plays
  24. Well last year Seymour beat Maryville in the jamboree 7-0 and they still beat Alcoa...Maryville doesn't go into jamboree's lookin to kill people....There tryin to see who can play.I'm not sayin that Alcoa tries to destroy people..Which I'm not against that. You just can't pick a winner from what you see from them in a jamboree.Especially when its Maryville.
