  1. Yes, becuase a president that gives us a surplus to end his term as president is a real loser(rolls eyes)
  2. Yes, because Duncan has made South-Doyle a force to be reckoned with.
  3. Too bad OR is better than both Ooltewah and Farragut. For me, it'd be 1. Oak Ridge 2. Ooltewah 3. Farragut 4. Brentwood 5. D-B
  4. 1. Catholic - 10.0 +3 2. Farragut - 8.5 + 4 3. Bearden - 7.0 + 3 4. Webb - 5.5 + 4 5. CAK - 4.0 + 2 6. Grace Christian - 2.5 + 1 7. Fulton - 1 Point Standings after Week 1 1. Catholic - 35.5 2. Farragut - 26.5 3. Halls - 18.5
  5. Congrats to Ravenwood, but this pretty much assures that BA will be knocked out of the national Top 25
  6. Excellent game by both teams. That #7 for Carter is a beast. That one-handed snag interception out of the air for a TD by him was a play of athletic genius. South-Doyle also made some pretty big plays too. The really big one was OJ with that 74 yard run that was just................,well not many verbs to describe it. Conley is much more of a runner than I thought he would be. But like I said, it was a good game by both teams. GO KEES!!!
  7. Ehh, thought WB would be somewhat better than they showed last week. I'll take D-B, 24-7
  8. 1st Quarter, Maryville - 7, Alcoa - 3 2nd Quarter, Maryville - 21, Alcoa - 10 3rd Quarter, Maryville - 28, Alcoa - 13 4th Quarter, Maryville - 35, Alcoa - 19
  9. I'd say Maryville, but S-D's student section isn't too bad for big games.
  10. Probably Milan or Memphis Melrose.
  11. Lately, all these people have been saying that Maryville's streak will come to an end at Halls. Now, it's turned to Alcoa as the team to down the Rebs, and now, we even have someone saying Powell will win. I just have something to say that seems like common sense, and that is Maryville will go undefeated and win the state championship, again.
  12. I've heard that Clinton is supposed to be good this year, but I think AC wins it by a touchdown, 28-21
  13. I've got the Kees by two, 24-22
  14. 1. Catholic - 10.0 + 4 2. Halls - 8.5 3. Farragut - 7.0 4. Fulton - 5.5 5. Powell - 4.0 6. Austin-East - 2.5 7. Bearden - 1.0 + 3 ----------------------------- Point Standings after Week 1 1. Catholic - 22.5 2. Halls - 18.5 3. Farragut - 14.0
  15. South-Doyle's players, fans, and all at the school offer our prayers to the friends and family of the victim, involved. I'd also be sorry if I didn't offer prayers to the suspect's family. This must be a horrible time for both of those parties involved. First, the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, now this. But, they always have said that the night is darkest before the dawn, and I hope this is true.
  16. As my favorite saying goes - If if's and but's were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas. Look, CAK is a really good team. Most people know that, but relative to the strength of classification, Grace might be better than CAK
  17. That's the key word in your post there.
  18. You're a few fries short of a Happy Meal if you think that SD will be last in the reigon. Lenoir City, you know, the 0-10 team with a new coach and a new system, will be last.
  19. I remeber reading a training/drills book that Penn State had. They do teach speed and quickness, and are quite good at it actually.
  20. Alcoa by 10 would be a conservative prediction. An aggressive one would be Alcoa by 30 I'd go in between Alcoa - 38 White House - 17
  21. I really wish people would get over themselves about this issue. Heck, it's not like it's only the private schools that recruit.
