Cant wait till it starts

Well just to make a point I seriously doubt that Tyner has a dozen kids that run a 4.5. People blow the numbers way out for some reason, because you all do realize that their are players getting drafted in the first round of the NFL draft and they are getting clocked at 4.4 and 4.5's. Now Im not saying they aren't fast and will be the fastest Westmoreland has saw so far, but I think its funny how everyone says this player is a 4.4 and this one is a 4.5 when if they were clocked by radar they would be about a 4.7 or 4.9. I think they will have a better year than most are predicting. I think they will finish at least 3rd in the region.

I say Upperman 1st. LA will get 2nd. Macon as a surprise 3rd. York in 4th. Followed by Smith, Cannon, and Dekalb.

Didn't know you had to make a prediction to post on the T. As a matter of fact I've seen some Carthage people say that their not going to give a prediction, so why start on this one? Anyways, I feel that Carthage has the better team from what I have seen. However, I also think Carthage is better than York but we saw how that went, so you never really know. It may not be so much as the things you say are classless, but that you are a smart&*^ about everything. I usually don't post anything on here but I've been reading for about 4 years now and thats how you come off. Everything I have heard has been pretty much what truetigerfan said. Basically, ONCE AGAIN you have a bunch of idiots that want to ruin anything that a coach in Macon does. Im not saying everything that Coach Cook does is correct or that I agree with it, but I know he sees them more in practice than I do so I guess he knows who should be playing and what they should be doing. Like I said before there are a few idiots that want to run everything and have and will continue to tear up good staffs. They did it a few years ago and tore up what in my opinion was one of the two best coaching staffs that has ever been in Macon. They don't realize that not only do they look stupid by doing it, but they are also hurting the kids when they run off a coach every two or three years. Until this kind of stupid act stops Macon will not consistently have a shot. Too much controversy equals everyone thinking about something else (including players) and no one fully focused on the task at hand. Just my opinion and we will see what happens, but for the adults GROW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one comes into your place of employment and tries to get you fired so why should you be allowed to do the same. For you bigstick I would like to hear the "real story" since what is being told didn't really happen according to you and your kin. Westmoreland did give Cannon several chances to win. Neither team is real impressive at this point but it was a great game to watch. With the injuries that Westmoreland received and the chances that they gave Cannon, Cannon should have won the game. They are much improved, but I think clock managment at the end was the deciding factor. Great effort by both teams, but it looks like they both have a ways to go to compete with York and Carthage.

Although I would like to see Macon pull the upset I think WH is to strong. I say White House by 2 TD's. But you never know that's why you play the games on the field and not on paper or coacht lol.

Although Westmoreland is struggling to meet expectations right now I say Coach Kelley and staff get the boys focused on TEAM this week and start turning it around with a 3+ TD victory!!!

I think it may be a tougher game than some from Carthage think. However, I still got to go with the Owls to win by nine in this one. Smith Co. 21 York 12

See thats the problem Coach Dyer missed two games to be with his family and everyone thinks its the worst thing in the world. Thing is Coach Dyer left all the play calling up to his assistant coaches so none of that was effected with his absence. The truth of the whole thing is their were some &*^$%^&$ (who didnt like him cause he done what he thought was right and not what they wanted) so they used this reason as an excuse of why he should be fired. Unfortuanetly for Macon Co. football they had enough power at the board of education at the time to make this happen. Wonder if any of them wish it was different now? Probably not, they are getting to try and run the show from behind the scenes and as long as the coaches listen to them they are happy win or lose. I feel so sorry for the kids who are the ones that really get the shaft.

I think winning 12 out of 14 games and having the best year in school history could qualify as winning ballgames.

I say Watertown two years in a row. All of a sudden everyone is jumping back on the TC bandwagon now that they are 2-0. Congrats on being 2-0 but you have to realize that you have beaten 2 really bad football teams. They may win two games combined between them. You would be right about Macon is one of the worst places for blaming it all on the coach. Probably, the worst ive ever seen. Not saying that the coaches dont make mistakes Im sure they do, but doesnt everybody? Macon has had some great coaches up there in the past that were turning the program around and even had the best year in school history by going 12-2 to the semi-finals. However, they didnt hang with the good ole boys so they were run out of town. From what Ive seen Coach Cook knows how it is and is doing what the good ole boys want to maybe help him from losing his job.

Westmoreland isnt playing as good as I thought they would. SmithCo. is a little better than I thought. Dont know squat about York. Upperman is the surprise to me I thought they would be scoring 35 a game not giving it up. Jackson County doesnt apppear much different. Cannon may be on the way up it will just take a while. So, after the first couple of games my prediction is: 1. Carthage 2. York 3. Westmoreland thats all that goes to playoffs this year so alot could be decided this week.

The rule is that the defense can return the kick if it is short of the back of the endzone. However, if it is not returned it is a missed fieldgoal and brought back to where the ball was originally spotted was what I was told.

Just like you. However, after reading the post on this site since 03 (yeah you remember that year dont you ha ha) I will have to say that win or lose you get on. The only thing is when you do lose (which impressively is not that often) you never give the other team credit its always some excuse. Just wanted to get a little jab in there lol.

Jacket fan you are right on two accounts first you all did just run 8 plays (at the most). Secondly, both teams are gonna need luck the rest of the way cause neither team is real impressive. However, I know for a fact that you are wrong about the coaching staff going to your scrimmage cause they were all at practice. I can promise you that their was not a member of the coaching staff at your scrimmage. NOT THAT IT MATTERS, but just wanted to get that straight.

Word is he broke his leg on the last play. Also, heard the QB got dinged up. If all this is true it could get ugly.
