Ill have to go with baconbreath!! Its a banner year for this district talent wise. They match up with any all-star team. With the right leadership, this bunch could be molded into a very strong team.

Students and parents should have a choice to where they should go to high school. Not only for atheletics, but academics and any other area that they are interested in. This is nothing new and is practiced almost through out the state, with a few exceptions. Its a good policy for all concerned.

Several observations here. 1st. Gomab, for the first time, we agree. If you want to be the best, you have to beat Memphis. White Station is the best of Memphis. The Bradley Bears want White Station there. Bradley has finished 2nd to them 2 out of the last 4 years. In 2001, they lost to them in the 1st round. Bradley wants to go though them to get the gold ball. Anything less will simply not do. 2nd. The talent level here is not being spead around in this area. Cleveland gets the city talent that they always get. Walker Valley gets the ones that they need. Bradley gets the ones who are serious about their game. A testament to Coach Smith, Coach Rueter, and Coach Clark. Everyone knows Bradley has 3 "head coaches" in their camp! 3rd. Walker Valley has some good talent. They may challenge in their league. But would finish no better than 3rd in AAA district. And would have to up-set Bradley, Cleveland, or Rhea to do that. The excitement is there. A new coach is there. But his "claim to fame" is up-setting Bradley at home while at Rhea in an early district game several years ago. 4th. The friendship amoung the top eight players on this team is un-matched. 6 out of the top 8 players have played on the same team since the 7th grade. Pickel,Pugh & Hare have played on the same team since the 5th grade. They are united. They are as one, with help from the great staff at Bradley. They have the intangables. 5th. They have only one goal this year!!!!!!!! Bring them on!!!!!!!!!!!

Hate to say it but bradley may not win another game. Offense is so predictable. Trick plays can not be counted on to win the game. But thats all they have!!

blount is coming to cleveland this weekend for tournament and play a doubleheader tonight at bradley. Will Philup Tucker be pitching or has he already pitched this week?

You have been gone too long backyard! I think that most will agree with your insight of the game. Also on the possibility of overlooking tonights contest! Dont look for Bradley to take anything for granted at Rhea. I would like to say that who wants it the most will most likely win, but that is not the case! They both want it equally bad. I see this as the first of possibly 4 match-ups between the 2 schools. I dont think anyone expects a sweep by either team. I hope they both end up in the region finals because they are the 2 best teams in region. If this happens then you may be looking at a 5th game between the 2 in the state! Both teams are deserving, well coached, and the rivalry is at an all time high! Its what atheletics is all about! Excellent post backyard!

Not only do i agree totally, but this loung lady loves to compete! She understands the flow of the game and can make good decisions. She brings excitement to the game. Very quick, and can hit the jumper!

Prime example of a well prepared team vs a very disorganized team. WV was in control from tip-off to buzzer!! Its still early but Tucker has his crew off to a great year! Heidi leads the county MVP race with no challenger!! Morris and Cox are 2 outstanding posts who can control the boards. Add the defensive pressure that was witnessed last night, and you have a very solid team who can play with anybody, anywhere!!!! My hats off to Coach Tucker.

my money is on the hare/pickel duo! Temple runs a great offense though. been watching them for years. it will take some time for bradley to "find themselves" offensively!

Providing information other than mostly offensive stats is hard to do. Its basically judgemental from the providers viewpoint. But at least its a point of view other than stats. Colleges or recruiters or even casual observers have to consider the source! Your doing a good service here Gomab, keep it up. Just remember there are dozens of factors (on and off the court) thats determines a players worth!

Why do you feel compelled to give these stats? Its information like this that discredits what you are trying to do! Trying to build a reputable showcase is a worthy thing. Posting useless stats only reflects your misguided intentions!

the best measure is the time from contact to first base. a 4.1 in that is excellent!!!!!
