  1. Some of you people need to know the whole story. Satterfield is an idiot. Sounds like a type of guy running their school system is like the ones running for President. Not a lot of common sense. Go hire your boy now.
  2. NCS linemen were winning on the line of scrimmage and no linebacker play, out of Peabody, what so ever. I thought the LB's were animals? I guess not. I hope everyone acts right after the game. Reputation of the Peabody players as of late has not been that of a true winner.
  3. I didn't realize that, BIGPURPLEMACHINE. Peabody is working on it though.
  4. Should be a good game. Kids from Nashville (surrounding area) against kids from kids from West Tennessee (Trenton, Humboldt, Dyer, and even Dresden). Great recruiting job guys.
  5. Huge wins in years past have not created this type of behavior. I remember a few years back when Peabody beat Milan in the playoffs and nobody did anything like this in the locker room after the game. The kids won with class. We as a town were proud of them. These kids, not so much, not all of them, mostly the one or ones that draw negative attention to themselves. They just happen to be the ones that are so called the face of the program right now. SAD! I sure do miss last years senior leadership.
  6. Taylor has class and is in it for the team. It is not just about him. Good luck to him and the other Tidemen. You are better now. This will be a team that the town can be proud of now. You can also be proud of your quarterback on and off the field.
  7. In regards to the Malone situation, there is no way that this can be good for the team. It has to be bad for the younger kids who should be looking up to him for positive leadership. With this being twice in two weeks and happened during the season last year, when is it going to be enough? I understand that you try to save a kid from going in the wrong direction but if he was 5'4", 115 pounds and ran a six second 40 would he get the same treatment? It's time to cut ties with him. The TEAM will be better and the coaches will have less headaches. Maybe a tough move but in the long run it is the right thing to do.
  8. Does anyone know who made the all-region team in 7AA?
  9. It's time to give Paul Hudson a shot. You know he isn't going anywhere, he will be in Trenton when everyone else is gone. Scott tucked his tail and ran off when they got rid of him, then Gaddis got a better offer and left. Hud is the man.
  10. I just want to wish good luck to all the West Tennessee teams that are in the championship games. Huntingdon, Adamsville, Milan, Covington, and Whitehaven will be representing the west. North Side lost to a very good Beech team but had a great year. I'm not looking for any trash talk but just wish your team luck.
  11. The defense started playing better when #1 came in for #7. He is more physical and makes more plays. Seems to be more of a team player.
  12. If Barnett had not moved to Dickson County for his Junior season and then back for his Senior season don't you think he would have the stats for Mr. Football? He sure has made a difference this year. I'm sure they miss him in Dickson. Good for Peabody.
  13. Peabody may have a new coach but it doesn't matter, Milan will win this one then Huntingdon will do the same the following week. What will happen then? I am just looking forward to week 8 when you come to Humboldt.
  14. Peabody will have a scrimmage with Crockett County this fall. Should be a good one for both squads. This has always been a good middle of the week scrimmage. I believe it is set for Tuesday, August 7th at Crockett. Both teams had good spring scrimmages with good running games. Good luck to both squads.
  15. I hear that former Peabody head coach Kent Scott is going to Crockett County as an assistant for Kevin Ward's staff.
