  1. East Hamilton 1 Boyd 0 Match dominated from start to finish by East Hamilton. Had several near misses. Could have easily been a 4 or 5 goal victory.

Sorry, but having seen the teams play I can say that GPS is not better than Soddy, Signal, or East Hamilton. Do not know about ND or CCS against GPS, time will tell.
  3. Tullahoma 4 -1 winner EHS 3-0 winner Boyd 3-2 winner

East Hamilton 3 Livingston Academy 0 All EHS. Livingston girls played hard until the last whistle but EHS was simply the dominant team. LA had no shots on goal and may have crossed midfield twice over the course of the match.

    Euro Rankings

Another season, same old question: how are the euro rankings compiled? I know several head coaches who try to make contact with those in charge to submit their rankings and never hear back.

    Week 2

It was 5-0. And while Soddy played well, EHS is missing four or five starters and is still young two seniors and two 8th grade players getting significant minutes. Be interesting to see how EHS responds over the course the season and very interesting to see how this program develops over the next couple of years.
  7. Some coaches may be hesitant to send in stats because many stats that do get sent in are so inflated due to the level of competition a team may be facing - allowing a star player to net several goals against an inferior opponent. Not saying that is necessarily a reason to withold stats, but it has come up. Just a thought.
  8. I agree totally. However, it is frustrating to try to get this set up and never hear back from the admin. I hope that the response time has improved as I know several coaches who have sent emails to the person in charge of the site so that they can get things set up so that they may vote and only heard back months later (and often times never heard back). Bill may need a little help. I am sure his plate is full and I am assuming that he is still the admin of euro (though I may be wrong there)
  9. NSCAA says national ranking of #1 for Brentwood. And they are one of the (if not the) most reliable rankings in terms of recognition in the soccer community.
  10. Quick... someone call TSSAA right now. Let us take all the finalists from each classification, seed them, and have a real state champ!
  11. wow...I was counting on Houston to win but anticipating more fight from Oak Ridge. What a score for a state semi-final game. Looking forward to the final and hoping for a good game. So far the best games go to the D2 guys.
  12. I wonder if CBHS having to play in the late semi-final game will be a factor. Having to play late and then turn around to play in the early afternoon the next day is brutal. In a game this close, the smallest edge could be the difference. Congratulations to all four teams on great seasons.
  13. "...because the only two public schools that made it are out..." Well put and just another reason that all private schools should be together in one division. I was shocked that any public schools made the tournament in A/AA.
  14. What an incredibly ignorant generalization made from someone with Coach in their id...disappointing!
  15. Any news on McCallie / Father Ryan?

  17. I was not typing with any kind of sarcasm. My questions are legit.
  18. I don't know if it was a "very down" year in Chattanooga but, for the most part, what you are saying is true. I know of some A/AA teams in Chattanooga that always adopt the mentally of "fighting for third" in their district/region. Teams like Hixson and East Ridge must be kicking themselves - if there was a year for them to make a run, this was it. They should take a note from Boyd and CSAS. CCS and Hixson were very very beatable this year. This was a missed opportunity for several teams that Boyd took advantage of.
  19. West controls the tempo of the game and possession. They score 1 in the first half in the 18th minute. They add to their lead in the second half at the 60 minute mark. Collierville pushes for the last 20 minutes and gets one back off of a corner in the 74th minute but loses 2-1.
