As a die hard Greene Devil fan I feel that GHS has a great team that is capable of all the talk that is being spoken. The best way to show how great the Devils really are is to take it one week and one game at a time. We need to remember that the higher we build ourselves the harder the fall will be. Lets let the team do the talking for us on the field. GO DEVILS!

I believe that Stewart has some maturing to do but for a sophomore he handles the team very well and I think the team responds to him in return. Carmichael had a bad night against South, but can still flat out play.

I'm sorry, but if she's going to play with the big boys, she's got to know that she's going to get hit some time or another. Well, I'll just keep my opinion to my self.

True Bud. The fumbling cannot be blamed on anyone but ourselves. You can't fumble that many times and expect to win in the long term, especiallly against teams like SSHS, EHS, and THS or playoff calibar teams. I'm sure that coaches will work on that. Of course you have nights where things just don't come together. Hopefully last night was the Devils night for this season. Thankfully the D kept pounding and the O delivered too.

I hope the SS fans are pleased with the penilty calling last night. You cannot say that the refs were in any way in favor of GHS! If my info is correct, GHS=9 SSHS-0. Wow! Home cooking? I'd say not.

I'm sure GHS will not over looks betsy! But, don't start the "everywhere but the scoreboard" stuff we got trashed on here last year for that same talk! As we learned last year all that matters in the W/L column is what the score board says.

Barb, I agree with you. Not that Jeff. Co won't be a test, but THHS, EHS, and SSHS will more than likely be tougher. I hope our boys are focused on one game at a time and forget what happened last year. It's time for some new Greene Devils to step up and be leaders. GO DEVILS!

The teams will be the same, unless NG decides not to participate, but rotation of teams may change up from last year. I believe GHS played Grainger last year. Who did everyone else play?

I'd have to agree with you about Burley Stadium. It is a great place to watch a game, of course I'm biased as a Greeneville fan! Burke Toney is a pretty good stadium too.

So what you're saying is you're not rich but just a snob? Barb, you've been around long enough to know the difference between hatred and trash talking. Just because people in the county want to back their team and support them doesn't mean they hate GHS. There are many people in the county who respect and have may friends at GHS. They are those who actually do hate GHS, not saying there isn't hatred either. The county talked trash last year and GHS proved them all wrong and everyone found out quick just how good the Devils were. Let people do their trash talking, it's what makes this fun. Doesn't mean we all hate each other. Point taken...hate is a strong word. HOWEVER, I have been on the receiving end of quite a few of those personal "you're just a rich city snob" attacks from people who don't even know who I am...I mean geez Bud, I ain't rich.
