it does not have to be registered as a JV tournament but you are right it will count as one of the 18 dates you are allotted to compete. my varsity are only wrestling 16 varsity dates so that I can send my B team to 2 varsity tournaments for the experience

Never count the Irish out. Coach Pat does a remarkable job there and always produces a strong team as does Coach Frank. That's why we wrestle both of them at the start of every season going on 5 or 6 years now. We use them as a measuring stick on where we are as a team. its trial by fire for us at the start of this season. in the first 3 weeks of the season we will see, Summit, Cleveland , soddy, walker valley, Father ryan, MBA Independence, siegel among others.
