PC Asst yes not TW but DD - TW is 1 year from retirement he is not going to take MJCA job when he could be double dipping there or anywhere year later. If DD is smart he gets TW when he retires and if DD gets to fill the ELE PE spot open at least puts together a staff that will give them a chance over the next couple years. IF the AD doesn't screw him after he gets hired. We will see. DD is quality guy but all hires since the beginning have been quality guys but that has not been enough in the past.

Is this for real of for whoevers parents can afford to pay the bill to be on the team. Who is the governing body?

3 pages and no one mentions why he left - so I'll ask- I know he resigned bit why? Run out, new opportunity, family?? Seems odd no one mentioned why.

The MS team was pretty good this year, although questionable schedule. There is no freshman team or coach. The MS coach is not a certified teacher so he is probably not the guy. Another coach there says that they are trying to hire a big name- Good Luck!

However the AD is ultimately responsible for the athletic department and indirectly responsible for hiring coaches or in many cases not hiring good ones or trying to keep them unless they are involved with basketball.

Whoever does take the job, must remember that the forfeit to Kx Webb automatically eliminates them from post season play. I just thought it was change to get another W, A region forfeit automatically puts you last in the league. Now the chance of them winning two games the key being beating DCA and Friendship is impossible, but under this brilliant decision by the AD means the new HC is handcuffed right out of the shoot. The first year they were in the region with KW the AD cancelled the game for the threat of a storm. Then went and told the HC, claiming it was to dangerous to play. Good luck who ever is next you will battle the "small school poor us" mentality with the AD constantly.

There is a proposal to separate the public and privates, but apparently this proposal is made often and has yet to pass. If you really want to see a change to make this a reality coaches and ADs need to start working on their principals and get them to vote for the split. Good Luck

5-6-and MS success rarely translates to varsity success - back to my lack of experience point. I hope MJCA does their do diligence to get a quality HC not just a good guy who is interested in the job. The last two coaches who were both good people that had maybe 10 years experience between them and neither had even been a coordinator at any level. If the 8th grade class is the one to turn it all around they and the school deserve the best possible coach the school can get. Good luck

I have guess as to who next hc will be but he is not close to qualified who do you think it is Vandy fan? From a win loss standpoint I guess it makes sense to forfeit an obvious loss to try to schedule a winnable game, but what does that tell your kids and if you only lose 3 district games you can't make the playoffs. As I mentioned before Dca FCS and Webb will be 1,2,3 on that side for a while, but giving one away doesn't seem like it sets the right precedent. IMO that is part of what is wrong with the thinking there.

New bleachers and soccer has own field so no sharing, New locker room with small indoor baseball hitting cages possibly practice inside there. Dressed about 30, supposedly the 8th grade class coming up has talent.Tough region and their side of the district is DCA, Friendship, and Kx Webb, no playoff hopes at all. Biggest problem there is AD, nice guy but he thinks he gets it. Pay is below avg for privates. No big money there like some. If you want to be in a good and environment and schedule to maybe 5-5 with no playoff opportunity then it s good job for someone.

The facts are 3 wins And 4th toughest schedule in div 2-a, not sure how many guys would have won more games with 6 weeks to game 1. I hope Da gets a quality coach but it won't because they are writing him a big check most privates need help and get help financially but not for coaching salaries-there are only a couple Ensworths and BAs.

Agreed, hopefully they will get the administration straightened out for the kids' sake. I think they let him go at the Christmas break. I did hear they are planning to reinstate MS FB next year. That is a good sign.
