  1. Fulton was a bottom of the barrel program unitl Rule High closed. Fulton was actually pretty good back in the 60's.
  2. Beat Grace on senior night in OT. Grace is ranked 4th in prepxtra poll behind only Bearden, AE, and Fulton. They are 5th in state in single A and will probably get back to the state again. AC's manager played the first 3 or 4 minutes of the game and ran to the locker room when coach finally took him out. Pretty funny stuff. Rorex hit a shot at the buzzer to win.
  3. District Standings Stone Memorial 10-2 Knoxville Catholic 9-2 Anderson Co. 9-3 Loudon 5-6 Scott County 5-7 Kingston 3-9 CAK 0-12 Thurs: Kingston vs Cak Fri: Kingston/CAK winner vs Anderson Co; Scott vs Loudon Sat: #1 seed vs Scott/Loudon winner; # 2 seed vs AC/CAK/Kingston winner #1 seed is Catholic if they beat Loudon tonight #1 seed is Stone if Catholic loses tonight
  4. Julian McBee--Knox Central Tyler Hood--Lenoir City Cameron Fox--Stone Memorial Josh Wilson--Anderson County Drew Baker--Karns Jujuan Williams--West
  5. AC is not what they've been in the past.
  6. Who are the main contributors for the Indians? They seem to be playing well now that they have figured out some roles. Good Luck!
  7. 4AA Standings & Remaining Games: AC 9-1 @ Scott, Catholic Stone 8-2 Kingston, @ Loudon Catholic 7-2 @ CAK, @ AC, @ Catholic Loudon 4-5 @ CAK, Stone, Catholic Scott 3-7 AC, CAK Kingston 3-8 @ Stone CAK 0-9 Catholic, Loudon, @ Scott
  8. The whole staff at Oak Ridge looks like they coached with Pitino. Nothing less than tailored Italian for them. Tell me Charles Mitchell hasn't left the tags on them suits for years just so he can upgrade every few games. EaaaastSiiide! Anthony Lamb at Grace is pretty sharp himself. Nice color coordination to match the Hawaiian Tropic Tan.
  9. Either your Hood's daddy or his agent, either way you're a HOMER. You honestly think that if Hood were traded for Parker or Jenkins, LC would be worse. I don't think so. I like Hood's game, but ease up with the used-car sales pitch. feartheveer, K-Town Daddy taught me the proper way to cover my roots when dying the golden mane. That's what keeps the ladies coming back. Wooooooooo
  10. 49-48 Sounds like it was a good one. Any details?
  11. I miss your enlightening comments on the state of knoxville basketball!
  12. Didn't see this one coming. Rorex must have put up 40 tonight. Is Stone still nursing some injuries?
  13. Do the good people of Hog-Eye still have nightmares over the Fulton game last year? Wooo-that was rough. Heard some funny talk coming out of these same threads pregame last season as to what you all were going to do to the Falcons. Just wondering. Keep living the dream until the Middle TN bubble bursts and you must face the powerhouses from the Eastern and Western corners of the state. Sleep tight for now...........zzzzzz........zzzz...
  14. Mr. Veer, I must disagree on this one although I have enjoyed your posts from time to time. Pryor will be the best big man on the floor. He will D up Demonte better than anyone this side of Oak Hill. Pryor is unmatched as the most dominating player in the Knoxville area when he's aggressive. Not many besides Dawg fans or players would debate that one including Steele, Gallman, McBee, etc. Big twin is an incredible offensive rebounder and plays good enough D to give Parker and Jenkins trouble. Not saying he will dominate but he will do just fine. Chance is a flat out stud along with Lopez. Lopez has easily established himself as the best point man in the area this season and AE's backcourt is the tops around these parts. The difference in my humble opinion in this game will be Bearden's inability to handle AE's swarming pressure for 32 minutes. AE's patented 10-0 runs will be a little too much. No one presses the Dawgs because of their size and athleticism but AE can and will. I'm not saying this will be a blowout obviously, but AE is the better team. AE would have been in the state toruney last year in AAA and has an excellent chance to win AA this year. I'm looking forward to the game very much. AE by 3
  15. Someone from Scott talking about making noise is comical. You guys have 6 wins and three of them are against Midway, Oakdale, Sunbright, and another against possibly the worst team in KY this year in Monticello. Scott always plays the worst competition of anyone in their district but they make fun of Oneida? On the bright side, you guys will once again compete for 4th place in 4AA only to fall short. I bet you guys are happy Catholic and AC are leaving next season since you can't hold a candle to them. Have you ever looked at Catholic, AC, Stone, or Loudon's schedule compared to yours. No wonder! Mind your own business and quit trying to tear down the Indians when you guys are pretty bad off yourself....
  16. When they lose it's Cook's coaching, when they win it's the assistants. Seems like a convenient excuse for the Cook haters.
  17. 1) Sam Watson 2) Ryan Click 3) Jay Reynolds 4) Micah Ballard 5) Charlie Hardwick 6) Ben Mixer 7) Bobby Ault 8) Cameron Langley 9) Dylan Powers 10) Jonathon Moore South Doyle? Sevier--Feezel?(sp) probably way off on this list. Hunley from Farragut will be on it by season's end
  18. His own school does not want him, so why would OR? He has announced his retirement every year for the last 5 if not longer. He no longer has the respect of his players or his assistants. He has very little dedication to the program accept on Friday nights. It's a shame the power pull he is attempting to get his son back. ORHS is smarter than this.
  19. It's a shame what kids get away with these days and face such little repercussions. Great opportunity for life lessons to be taught but I guess he's a good player so...you know the rest of the story.....
  20. I hope for the sake of the kids and the staff that Kerr steps down and allows AC to get a hardworking coach. Kerr quit working hard many years ago and it shows. He actually has a good staff in place that the kids respond to and his return will clear the cupboard once again. Fellowes is begging for Kerr to take his son back so he'll be out of White County. Time will tell.
  21. Oneida has too many horses for GREENBACK. I love the Vanskiver kid though. He's got loads of heart, but I just don't think he can carry them by himself. Good luck to both teams.
  22. I like some of the candidates. I think the problem MAVFAN is that if Kerr returns he will be hiring a brand new staff. I don't see the young guys on his staff taking Kerr's antics another year. How many strong young coaches has Kerr retained over the years. How many coaches last three seasons with Kerr that aren't administration or deeply entrenched in the community. It's a shame what the Mavericks have been deprived of due to Kerr. No doubt he knows his football, but he has lost the ability to get guys to work hard for him. Good luck Mavs
