Is complaining about the refs to the press still a fine or penalty?

So if this is not making fun of or personally attacking someone, not sure what is. Just man up Murph and admit what we all know. But wait that will never happen. Hiding behind a screen name.

So it is not nice to make fun of people on the internet, but from what I have seen, this is pretty much all Murph does. And I know what Murph said is probably sarcasm, but if not..... Again easy to sit in stands and critique and criticize. It is you right to critique and criticize, but too personally attack and make fun of, not so much.

Sitting in the stands you can sure see a lot. That is usually where all the good insight and knowledge comes from. All starting too make sense know.

Barney you are correct. Some folks here get a little, you know what hurt, when certain subjects are mentioned. I myself am just a fan a high school football, and football in general. Really no ties to any one team in the area. Just happen to have lived in this area for awhile. As far as the scheduling goes, I do not believe the current coach had anything to do with it. I suspect it was the former coach and AD. Just a guess. So we shall see how Sevier County schedules for the next two years.

But you still ignored what I posted. I do agree that in most small towns (or in the schools) certain folks have their hands on these programs. But how do you know your info on these coaches is accurate when talking about the Smoky Bear program?

Sevier County has to be in top 10 somewhere. The back drop on a late fall Friday night with the mountains is something to behold. The stadium, when packed, can seat 6000. The turf with the big SC in middle and purple on the turf is beautiful. And now that they have added the Jumbotron, the atmosphere is great. DB and OR are two of the best also. Plus have to add the Castle in Bristol. Under the radar is Clinton, Greenville, and GP (stadium not so much, but the back drop OH MY)

Come on. Can he sit or stand to coach? Where did these new players come from? He suddenly decides to bench these players? What about the emergency teaching license he supposedly got? I do not know what is going at gp but something is up. They make hardly any news in boys basketball, then all of the sudden they get every kind of press you can imagine. I may be all just circmstance, but I don't know.

Agreed, noone should post unless you know the situation. But this is getting a bit old above the tunnel. Everytime you turn around something is going on at GP. Can the coach stand up or sit down to coach. Who is the actual coach on record? How do these players get to GP? How do two players not egilble at a rival school all of the sudden become eglible? And word is this is not the only time these players have been caught doing what they were doing? Seems like typical Sevier County politics to me.

I agree that this would not be a huge upset. Any info on these teams to speak of. Don't know much about either just seen scores and their two games on TV. Think both have speed and playmakers, but Young is the difference. If Bearden's QB can throw a little to keep Sevier County honest, could be long night for Sevier County.

Hey Banter (which is all you seem to do). Where and in the world did you grow up playing? All the years I have played (which is through college) I have never really seen this done. Some places do (not many) but just because you don't does not mean you are showing no respect. Now to take and knee and huddle with teammates or opposing players and pray for a hurt player is one thing, but for the whole team to take a knee when the opposing player is hurt is a little over the top. Teams should not be joking around and not seem concerned, but to take a knee, come on. I mean why not lay or just sit down. And to even compare this with placing your hand over your heart for the national anthem or taking your hat of at dinner or in a public building is just crazy (for a lack of a nicer word).

to the comment of sevier county teams getting tired of losing to blount county teams, it is a jamboree, wow; plus did sevier county not beat william blount last year and 5 of the last 6 times

probably some player or friend of a player; don't take too much stock; although i think sc has a nice team they are know where near ready for the likes of hendersonville and others; (who knows it could be a parent)
