Good 9-AAA matchup with Hendersonville traveling to Gallatin to face the Green Wave. Always has been a good rivalry...no matter what sport is being played. Both girls and boys games should be good.

Hendersonville is a contender in my opinion. Yes, they do live and die by the three, but if one guy is cold, another steps up. Decker, Hubbert, Hewgley, Johnson...the list goes on who can hit it from downtown. One thing I noticed against Wilson Central last night was that the Commandos need to work on rebounding. Gave WC to many second chances.

I have to agree....biggest crowd I have ever seen at a Hendersonville basketball game. Very close to the crowd at the sectional game loss to Maplewood back in 2002.

One of the best ballgames ive seen the Lady Commandos play this whole season. An all around great effort by the whole team. Didnt quit till the final buzzer sounded, and came out with a big win against a very good Bucs team. Congrats Hville.

You were right Ragland. Hendersonville comes out on top in a low scoring game, 42-33. Beechs 1-3-1 defense disrupted Hendersonvilles offense all game. Holding Hubert to only 8 points isnt an easy task either. Congrats to the Commandos on a well played ball game.

Hillsboro impressed me alot! I was on the sidelines for the White Creek game and the Buros running game is outstanding. Very difficult to follow the ball out of the wing-t. Alot of speed as well.

No conflict i dont think. Hall and Bond are two you mentioned....both are seniors i believe. Just wanted to be by themselves for their final game.

The final score shows a 31-7 win for Hillsboro, but that is in correct. When i left with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter, it was 38-21 in favor of Hillsboro. Fox17 had the 31-7 score as a final, but that was the score in the 4th quarter. Coacht, please find out the real final score...I will see if I can come up with something. Thanks.

Great game, but I wasnt to happy about Gallatins play calling as well. 2nd play of the game for the Green Wave is a fake handoff to the full back and a qb draw to the left side. Goes for a great gain. Next play is a touchdown pass. After that...majority of the plays was a QB draw up the middle. Gallatin went 3 and out mulitple times for that. Yes, that kinda calling worked in the past few weeks, but not against a Defense like Brentwood. Stretch the defense to the sides...get them tired. Running up the middle just lets them stand their and wait for ya. I cant give an opinion on the 4th quarter antics because I had to leave, but I was rooting for Gallatin. They had the talent to beat Brentwood, just came up a little short.

Whites Creek got their bad game out of their system with the close one with Clarksville. They played a much improved game against Tullahome, so I think they will be ready for Hillsboro this friday. Close one, but with the Cobras comin out on top

I still think Whites Creek has to many weapons. I know about Tullahoma's passing game, but that wont be enough. I also agree about the turnovers.

Brown got his yards on the ground, but the key was Cole only gaining 15 yards on 5 carries. Looked as though Franklin stopped him in hit tracks. Also, the Rebels passing game was the difference. Well done Rebels.

2 tough defenses goin at it. Cant ask for a better game. Im taking Brentwood though. They are on a hot streak.

Gallatin will have no problem with DC....just play a solid game and move on to the next round. Ravenwood and Overton....I am not sure about. Havent seen Ravenwood any this season, but ive seen Overton twice. They have a quick running back that can make plays. Saw something of a passing game as well. Brentwood vs McGavock....My previous post about this game I still believe in. Everyone will be taking Brentwood, cause they are supposed to win. This game...im not sure about that. Antioch and Franklin...Franklin has had problems with 5-5A in the past from my perspective... Squeeked by Antioch last year 10-7, year before that had to comeback against Hunters Lane and then go to OT with Hendersonville. Brown and Cole are their main offensive weapons. Look for Cole to get most of the carries inside the 20. Brown will get his carries, and his yards...a very elusive back that loves to spin. Cole just pounds it up the middle. Takes about 4 guys to bring him down. I think Franklin has what it takes to stop their running game and come out with a win.

In the playoffs....anything could happen. Brings back memories of last years softball season when McGavock came back and beat Brentwood in the regions. That wasnt supposed to happen....but it did.

Was expecting a closer game.....28-7?? Sounds like Gallatin just manhandled the Raiders. Carter must have been kept in check most of the night as well.

I think McGavock has to many speedy weapons for Gallatin to keep up with, including their running back Travis Carter. Hes an overall weapon on both sides of the ball, and on kick returns as well. As for the Antioch-Glencliff game...Antioch struggled with a poor Hillwood team, who took them to Overtime. The Colts will put up a fight, and could possibly pull out a victory. Antioch's offense has been up and down all year in my opinion, so its according to what team shows up.

The Lady Commandos held strong in the first half. Played good defense, but just made some mental errors, including the miss read by the Hendersonville keeper that allowed the first goal. HHS had some decent attempts on goal as well, just couldnt get the shot off. I had to leave at halftime, so anyone with details on the 2nd half, id like to hear.

That is one of the most degrading comments ive seen. Son, you have no heart. He cares about every single player he has, and I respect him for making the descion of sitting out the players who participated in the mentioned activites. Im sure few coaches would have done the same. Degrading technique?? Explain yourself....
