All i have to say is Bryan Cartmale played flawlessly and was a key player to the win. That's all the talk has been in our area. That a boy bryan and keep playin like the great player you are.

i think farraget has this game, along with the state tournament. They have the better bats and more solid pitching. I think houston was and will be there biggest challenge of the tournament

rtownbb- i don't think anyone on this site really cares about how someone spells something other than you. Most of us get on here to read information about BASEBALL..not spelling. So remember that and quit wasting mine and everyone elses time on that.

the columbia/shelbyville game is at one o'clock on saturday but that's the only game i know about.

I believe bobby bratton and courtney english will both be on the all district team. My thoughts are that courtney english will walk away the MVP of the district. He's hittin right at 500, and lets nothing fall in the outfeild. He should get it, we all know he deserves it.

It's nothing unusual to get on coach T and read a thread where a team is blaming the umpires on a loss. The thing is though, before you blame an umpire for a loss...look back at the game and see how many missed oppurtunities you had. If you had a perfect game and scored all the runnners on base...and executed every play perfectly, then a team might be able to say something like the umpires cost them..but no high school team can sit and say they executed perfectly therefore no team can say the umpires cost them the game.

The call by the ump could have gone either way. I agree with you. But in my opinion the ball seemed to have hit off the foul pole makin it a home run. The umpire had to make call. You all keep complaining saying he "guessed". Well his final call was his opinion. And if you ever umpire you will realize that all umpiring is based on your opinion. Is the ball a strike, is it a ball..is it fair is it foul is he safe is he out. Just like all of those..the homerun call is an opinion call and you can't complain by a call. Don't say that the call was an injustice to you. The play would have never even occured if you could have scored a run when you had no outs and bases loaded. Then you wouldn't have had to worry about it. In the mean time, just sit back and realize it was a good game, and there are no right or wrong calls by an umpire.

Columbia has quite a few. Grant nickle is around the ten mark, with bobby bratton trailing him close behind with seven or eight. Also jay poling has two, michael kinnard, one and josh oliver one.

I think kenny griffen from tellahoma is one of the toughest pitchers i've faced this year

well...buddy, it's not always how much talent you have on a team that makes them succesful or not. It's how hard your team wants it, how hard they work, and how good THEY WORK AS A TEAM. remember that....teamwork goes a long way along with good attitudes. Either way...whether you think mt.p has more talent( which i think you are wrong) Ca is the better team.
