  1. You would think someone from Red Bank would post a score!!!
  2. Has anyone got a final score?
  3. Did you happen to see or hear about the refs at the Bradley game at Red Bank? I think someone is jealious of the progam Bradley has had for the last 7 or 8 years!!! They may have won alot at home but their away games have been mostly wins also. When you win 31 to 37 games a year there is not much room for a loss. I would say that most teams have a better winning percentage at home then on the road. I would also guess that the few games Bradley has lost have been on a neutral floor given the fact they have been in two state finals and other state tourny games over the years. They always seem to be in some top ranked holiday tourny also. The home winning streak will end at some point but please give credit where credit is due.
  4. No, they'll be at whatever tournament 'ol Bradley goes to.
  5. How about this? No new face coming in, just one dropping a weight class?? Look for Keefe at 125.... ???
  6. Eaglemom, I see you got the Plus membership thing all figured out. Glad to see you're on the board now. Good luck with your search and the team.
  7. Craig, I have thought of you many times over the past few weeks. You have been a inspiration to alot of us. Please keep us infromed on your progress .
  8. I am still looking for the names of the officials that called the Red Bank/Bradley game. What I was told Is on my mind everyday. Officials should not be involved in paybacks. If the tssaa dosen't think it is a problem sending officials from the region that a team must play then why isn't every tournament set up this way? Did region 5 officials call the region 6 tourny? Someone will always say, why make such a big deal out of this but if your son or daughter was playing in this game you might feel different. The kids and coaches work to hard and long for some official with a agenda to end their season!!!!
  9. I started the post. Yes baconbreath said region 3 tournament was called by region 4 officials. The problem is region 3 plays region 4 in the sub-state. The winner of region 3 plays the runner-up of region 4 and vise-versa. Why would you put the officials in this position. I stated before that officials develope relationships with certain coaches and in the back of their mind may be pulling for a certain team. If the best team from region 3 gets knocked out then the region 4 winner and runner-up has a better chance to make the state tournament. In a state as small as tennessee why not send a officials crew from somewhere else. Example would be send Knoxville officials to the region 3 tournament. The miles can't be much different!!! I wonder if region 3 called the region 4 tournament. It would only seem fair if region 4 called region 3. Do you agree or disagree?
  10. Why would you put the refs in this position? It might cost a few more dollars but knoxville is not that far from Cumberland Co. I never thought that the tssaa was involved in any cheating by officials but refs sometimes form relationships with coaches from their own region. In the back of their mind they might be rooting for a certain team and knocking out a top team from the other region would only help. The last time I put a post on like this someone erased it . Guess I'm stepping on someones toes.
  11. Just looking for some info about how high school officials are choosen to call diferent region tournaments. Do they ever pick officials from the opposite region that the region the are calling would have to beat in the sub-state? I hope this question does not upset anyone.

  13. If Jason is hired will he be asked to not throw a game ??? What is the grad rate for boys basketball players at Rhea Co. High School????
  14. I know for a fact that Jason Mcgown did not like the way the progam was going when he left RHEA cO.
  15. Does anyone in Rhea C0. care about boys basketball? Not one word about a new coach, former coach nothing!!!!
  16. who will replace the coach at rhea co??? I have heard that this a hard place to coach. They will not put up with some of the things that have gone on in the past years!!! What about the assistant at cleveland. I think he is a well thought of guy in RHEA CO. He had to leave RHEA CO. from what I have heard. He must be looking into the job from all the talk about him from my friend next door.
  17. I have not heard anything about this. Please give us a update when you know more.
  18. This means Cleveland plays Brainerd in the first round!!! From what I understand Brainerd is missing their best player. Cleveland has lost to them two times this season by a few points. Cleveland should have the upper hand in this game.
  19. I've heard that Brainerd was missing their best player. Is this correct?
  20. Why didn't Cobb come out of the game when he picked up his third foul in the first half.
  21. Did anyone read the sunday daily banner? It never mentioned that Bradley had won the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!! I know that the person covering the event my not have a great knowledge about the sport but come on. This is one for the ages.
  22. Cleveland was picked pre-season number one by the Chatt. paper. A Bradley win would be a upset . Bradley lost eight seniors . Bradley has a 20-2 record not bad for a team picked 7th by the chatt. times. This game will go down to the last min.
  23. This game is for first place in the district!!! It doesn't get any bigger then this for high school basketball in tennessee!!! What are your thoughts.
  24. I was at the game . The Price kid was not even touched on the last shot!!! Olgesby got ran over on his three point attempt. This was a very even game and Mcminn co. should be proud of their effort but to say the refs cost them the game is not telling the facts. Foul are not suppose to be even but check the number of fouls called against Bradley in this game and I'll bet you'll find they had a lot more called on them then McMinn co. did.
  25. coachT score board says SD won the game!!!
