The ego problem has been going on with this team at least 3 years. Part of the players quit during the summer and came back anyway. Bell needs to sit down. I doubt that we will win the district as they almost let Bruceton beat them and they still have to play West Carroll. Morris doesn't have control or respect from any of them.

One of the Problems with Carroll Academy is that they don't have the same kids at any giving time, to ever get good at the game. Some get to go back to their respective schools and others get put in state custody. Most people don't want to play them because it does look bad when the score gets so high but they are in Huntingdon's district and they have to be play them. Most of the Huntingdon ppl cheer when someone makes a score from the CA team and want them to do well. I have seen scores like this from other teams and no one seems to make the same issue out of it. So what was the solution, did you want the Huntingdon girls just to stand there and not even try for the 4 guarters? Its easy to say what someone else should do in this situation. As I said before Coach Henson told the girls to lay back so you all knowing people what is the great answer out there cause ya'll know so much.

Fuller got her 18 pts in about 2 minutes alone. I think that the sour grapes that started this subject was from Martin and Milan. I think that if either of their teams had been playing the scoring would have also been tremendous. Carroll Academy has 8 or 9 players and only one that could do anything at all. This is again a pick at Huntingdon because thats all some people want to do in their spare time. Why don't you talk about your own teams.

Our Freshmen and soph's played 80% of the game and I don't think that anyone was trying to run the score up. In fact Coach Henson told them to lay back and not play hard. The only other thing that could have been done was put the cheerleaders in to play.

This was girls in northwest Tn. Sha Brooks is in Southwest Tn. Northwest covers Benton, Carroll, Henry, Weakley, Gibson, Crockett, Obion and Dyer. Most of the players I have seen have been Carroll and Weakley. Fuller from Huntingdon and also Brooke Pritchard... She can steal a ball like no one I have seen before, Dresden has some great players also.. I don't know their names but even with one of their main players hurt they can play ball.

I would think that Northwest, Tn. covers the counties from I-40 north from the Tennessee River to the Mississippi River.

Maybe he's a resident of Central State and they have let him have access to a computer.......Even the people in Huntingdon don't get that violent about Milan. HA Maybe he has issues!!!!!!

I have a friend whose son goes to DL and she didn't know they were playing Huntingdon until she read it in the paper. I bet you there wasn't one person in Huntingdon that didn't know who we were playing by Sat. night following the DL-Tyner game. People who don't even have children or other relatives, follow the game and know whats going on. Maybe DL has won awards too many times for it to mean as much, I don't know, but you cannot compare what living in rural west Tn. and having football tradition to living in Nashville. Maybe its like you said Stangfan, we all know the kids who are playing and have watched most of them since Jr. High, we know who they are dating, what they drive, see most of their parents everyday and some kids have 3 or 4 generations of family that has been going to same High School. If you look at the championship game Huntingdon 1st, DL 2nd but I don't believe that you will convince anyone in West Tn. that Milan should havebeen the 2nd place team. This is my opinion and if you don't like it I hate it, get over it. I refuse to argue anymore, because its all over. No more till Fall 2004 ya'll.

Thanks easttnfootballexpert, for the good words. I will say that this Huntingdon team has been very special this year. We are very proud of all of them for what they have accomplished this season.

9yroldchamps, I think you might well ignore them as all they want to do is try to start something they know nothing about. You are a first class poster and I am glad to have conversed with you on here. I know that you can take up for yourself, because I know that you know what your talking about.

They still have Huntingdon-Milan up, not sure why it hasn't been changed yet, though it could be due to staff changes the first of the year. Coach McAdams was at the Huntingdon-Milan game and this is my opinion alone. I think he came away knowing that his team was going to get beat and could have been by either Milan or Huntingdon. The really strange thing is that there were some other DL posters on here that said they were also at the game and weren't impressed with either team. I really don't think they were watching that game. That was the greatest game ever, again my opinion. Everyone tried to tell them that we weren't the one dimensional team that we have been in the past, but no believed it. This has been a great year and I will miss our seniors. Thanks Huntingdon for making us all believers!!!

I agree donvito, when the Fillies beat USJ back in Feb. the headlines were "Fillies barely squeak by USJ" I had to laugh.

Yeah Band, Yeah Football and Krystal Fuller assures me the girls will be back in the Boro in 2005. This has been a year to remember!!!!!

After the Milan game last week, I knew there wasn't nothing that we couldn't do. As I said in several post being the underdog does have its advantages.

Thriller, its really hard for some ppl to admit they were dead wrong and they probably refuse to turn their computers on because they don't want to admit it.
