I will have to admit I have enjoyed reading BCsportsfans posts. Here it is his team is getting ready to win another State Title. But! The fact that his Tornadoes lost to the worst Maryville team in 27 years drives him insane. Of course Maryville has drove us crazy most of the year.

Maryville is playing well. William Blount lost a close game to Hamilton Heights 86-80.

Typical Oakland. Every year it seems like they have those big defensive linemen wearing jersey 9 and 21. They have those quick and speedy linebackers and secondary every year. They have huge offensive linemen and speedy backs every year. They are by far the best public school program in the state. Creasy is a great coach but no one else has the talent Oakland has in public schools.

I would take George Quarles back at Maryville in a heartbeat.

I am not surprised Oakland won but I sure didn't expect a 56-0 beatdown.

Maryville was at the Arby's classic in December of 2002. They beat Dobyns Bennett and Science Hill. They lost to Nationally Ranked Georgia Wheeler and Boone FL. Don't know how good Maryville will be this year but the next 2 seasons they will win a lot of games. Sophomore Class is loaded.

Most of us knew this could be a rough year. I am looking forward to the future. Lots of good young players. The 1st touchdown against Bradley was Freshmen Quarterback throwing a touchdown pass to a Freshman receiver.

Maryville struggled some this year. This Maryville team had a bunch of injuries which this team couldn't afford. I see better days ahead. We have Will Jones as Quarterback the next 3 seasons. Maryville has several starters returning next year. The Freshmen class is loaded.

I don't remember any Maryville fan making excuses. We know Bradley is way better this year.

I will say this. It will take a special team to beat Bradley Central. Bradley is very talented. Boo Carter is one of the best players I have seen. He is electrifying with the ball in his hands and will knock your head off on defense. The Quarterback is really good also.

Maryville played hard but Bradley has way too many athletes. Boo Carter is awesome.

I told my Alcoa buddy at work he can relax now. Alcoa won't come close to losing another game.

If the Maryville team that beat Alcoa and Science Hill shows up Maryville will have a shot. If the Maryville team that lost to Farragut shows up they will get slaughtered.

Don't expect Maryville to be in the playoffs long.

Farragut whipped Maryville up front on both sides of the ball. Maryville was lucky it was only 13 10.

A lot of teams jumped to 4A to avoid Alcoa.

No way I will say this Bradley County team is better than the 2014,2017 and 2019 Maryville Rebels Football teams. This Bradley team will have to beat Oakland and win State Title to be compared to those Maryville teams. Those Maryville teams beat Oakland on their way to State Titles. Bradley looked really good though.

I was impressed with Bradley Central tonight. Having said that Oakland is a different animal. I have seen Oakland the last 9 seasons vs Maryville. Oakland is very fast and physical.
