Oh Stanley, I am highly upset that my opinion doesn't matter to you. In typical liberal fashion, you fail to mention anything of substance. By the way, your sentence structure needs work. Quite frankly, I couldn't tell you what each teacher's political stance is on The Hill. What I can tell you is that they helped shape the man I am today. I am a man focused on my role as servant, husband, and father. What is your role in life Stan? I am interested to hear from you just how I should be living my life. Passion Baby; it's all about passion! Why don't we just cancel our plans for a little golf outing; something tells me that your time could be better spent somewhere else.

You want to go Monday morning?

Not really Stan. ELA, you forgot to mention the word "liberal" in your description of teaching in the public school system. I would like to see conservatives in the school systems, but then again, conservatives are the small business owners and hard disciplined workers who make this country run. In addition, you would have a hard time having conservatives join the union, which is a whole different issue...... Dandy, I am glad to see that there are other self disciplined, motivated, unenlightened, uneducated, playmakers out there busting your butt for your family and not relying on the government to take care of you. Here's to old country boys working hard for themselves! Let's catch some fish

Wes, You must also understand that liberals live for debate. They love to be critical of others; however, they seem to have a problem actually doing something themselves. As a result, liberals are the "thinkers" of the world. They are the ones that tell you how to raise your children and teach your children. ELA and the others tell us that the teachers should challenge you and your thoughts! Well who the heck are they to think that they should not be challenged themselves?!? Who says that they have the answers and should be able to tell you that your thoughts are correct or incorrect. If higher education is about making one study his/her inner thoughts and beliefs, then why are there grades in school? Remember they are fine challenging you, but they can't stand to be challenged themselves. When challenged, they can't answer a direct question. This board serves as a perfect case study. Thoughts from an old uneducated and unenlightened country boy.

Thanks Dandy! Any size to them? Depth? Drops or Grass? Thanks

Meanwhile back at the ranch, we the uneducated and unenlightened continued to work and make money while the great minds continued to debate and to debate. So here's to you you great minds of the enlightened liberal world: Keep on talking.......

THAT'S IT: Stop the presses Milan is the 2003 State Champion in every division including DII. The season is over; wasn't it great?
-
Wes, In the future, please refrain from making posts such as this. ELA in all of his infinite wisdom has these answers; therefore, please just ask him directly. Now that you are in college, you should know that the liberal way is the only way. If you object to anything that they say or do( but then again, a liberal never actually "DOES" anything); you are a right wing conservative fanatic. Most importantly, do not ask a liberal a direct yes or no question. There is not enough memory in their computer to answer yes or no.

Hey Momma's Boys! Might I suggest an afternoon in Mrs. Palmer's English class for Rashard? Roll Red Roll

I haven't heard much about this game. Everyone seems to be focused on talking about Trinity. I have been around long enough to know that it is difficult to re-focus your attention after winning a big game. Bottom line is that Trinity was not as good as everyone expected. I believe that MBA will play at least two teams in DII AAA that are better than Trinity; so, get over the win and get ready to play Friday night! Roll Red Roll

Newball, I am going to forward your post on to Michigan for LLoyd and your family member to see.
-
Itzme, I want to ask you why, but then again is it really worth it? Thankfully, people like you are not the norm for BA. We'll just remain quiet and keep executing, out working, out thinking, and out playing the competition. Sure, we may lose Saturday, but I can promise you we'll pass our share of licks! Go get'em boys! Roll Red Roll
-
From all of the preseason info, it sounds like BA is the team to beat. Once again they are loaded with talent and D1 material. It'll be interesting to see if they play to their potential. Everyone is overlooking MaCallie, Baylor, and CBHS though. They will have quality teams as well. Of course, I'd love to see the boys on THE HILL win another one! Roll Red Roll! FlyBy

By defining the greatest coaches of all times by won loss records and accomplishments on the field, one has to consider many of these great names. The most qualified people to speak on that topic would be the coaches themselves. If greatness is decided by the influence and impact a coach has had on his players' lives, then many of these coaches names would be here as well. The man who led me on the field every Friday night for my less than stellar career had a huge influence on my life. Coach Tommy Owen at MBA will always be in my mind the greatest of all High School football coaches. He did not win the most State Championships, nor does he holds the record for most wins; however, I believe he would win hands down in the impact that he had on his players and his opposing coaches. He was truly a LEADER of leaders. We all learned from him in every aspect of his life. It is rare that most of us go very many days without something bringing a lesson that he taught us back from our past. In this age of Winning is the most important thing, I am very happy to say that I knew Coach O well and that he taught me that winning does not define a great man. What defines a great man are his actions, and his actions prove that he is the Greatest Head Coach in Tennessee history. Hit the Red Gate Runnin' FlyBy

Not really. At first, everyone thought that it was just a local grid. The more and more that word spread, you could tell that some were a little nervous;however, New Yorkers and visitors handled it extremely well. There really wasn't much we could do about it anyway...... I was shocked at how quickly the taxis got out of the city. I think they thought something was up, because it was almost impossible to get a taxi.

Times Square was pitch black on Thursday night. It was the most bizarre scene I have ever witnessed. One could actually see stars in the sky from the middle of Times Square. I had to walk from 16th up to 46th after the power went out. The cars were getting nowhere b/c of the traffic, and we were even going faster than the Emergency equipment by walking. People were shoulder to shoulder walking between cars in the middle of the streets. I was very impressed with the people of NYC. Thursday night was like a party for most people. The bars somehow stayed open late into the night. I heard no report of any problems. It was strange to see people huddled around transister radios listening to the latest reports. It felt like I was back in the forties listening for reports from the front. I, of course, went to the Fox studio on Ave of the Americas to watch the updates on Television. It was pretty cool and very relaxing to sit back and watch the reports knowing we were right in the middle of it. On Friday, I went straight to LaGuardia for a 5 PM flight. I got there at 9:00 AM. They had reported that LaGuardia was functional. WRONG! Most of the airport had no power for the thousands of people there. People were everywhere. The first flights out started around 3:30 PM. Restrooms were in really bad shape. There was no AC in most of the airport, so it was hot as ____. When it came time for our flight, American put us on a bus to take us over to another terminal which had absolutely no power. We sat there for 2 hours then finally boarded our plane home. I actually made my flight. Many people are still stuck there trying to reschedule flights that had been cancelled. It was a strange and hot experience. FlyBy

Dandy, Am I the nut?

I must have hit a sensitive nerve on the Una comment! Don't put words in my mouth; that was just a question. I'll actually support BA several times this year by attending games and cheering for them. Here's the point. It seems to have been going on for years. The problem is that the "it" can't be clarified by the TSSAA, BA or anyone, and who's to say that there is anything wrong with the "it". I have wondered about the Una connection for many years, and I am curious just how many kids have come from there to play at BA. I am not saying that they have done anything illegal.
-
UNA How many kids have gone from the UNA program to Brentwood Academy?

Hey Reb, I've enjoyed talking with you about football, but when it comes to politics...... I am a conservative....surprise to everyone..... I don't agree that all liberals have no moral value; they may have one or two . They just don't want the Biblical Truth to get in the way of forwarding their agenda.
-
Yes it is ...... for a liberal.

Houston, If your assumption is that you represent a higher standard of people, then I'll gladly accept my role as being substandard. High and Mighty I am not; firmly founded on solid truth I am. I don't care about the bulimia issue; that is your own battle. I hope you succeed in defeating it. As I said before, the maturation process is a long and winding road that never ends. Some people are just a little further down that road than others. Happy travels, and God's Speed!
