Dont get all tore up...the that poll is a joke and is not even viable or legit!!!! I am a Fulton alumn and we had zero on the team...just goes to show how crazy it is!!!

Why even debate this player or that player being ommited???? THIS POLL IS UNJUSTIFIABLE!!!!!

ELA, With all due respect to you, the coaches that voted, and the players that were voted onto the team...I'm sorry, but the process used does not help to VALIDATE the meaning of an "All-Star". It is ridiculous that the coaches that voted, couldnt have been a little more open-minded, fair, or unbiased. A good idea may be to have a panel of coaches list all of the possible All Star Canidates or Nominees (using end of season stats). Then maybe afterwards, the other coaches could make a case for the players on their team, in their region or that they may have seen play or faced. It just turns my stomach to think that some of these coaches didnt exhibit more integrity and vote for the players that truly exemplified the idea of "All Star" performers. This process needs to be revamped, so that it involves less POLITICAL measures and posturing! Until then, it will not be worth much more than the paper it is written on!

A COACH SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE THERE TO "VOTE FOR THEIR OWN" IT SHOULD BE AN HONEST PROCESS. It's always been done this way! If your coaches want to be a part of the process they must join TFCA and attend. This is the way it is done! If another coach from my region nominates a kid I'll vote for him, but the truth is I don't know all of the kids across the state. It's up to each coach from each part of the state to nominate kids from their area! There will be other state wide teams that will be selected by sportswriters... this is simply the coaches all state team. To me it is simply MEANINGLESS!!!

This TFCA All State Team is not the official team...we should see it later...it will be grouped into offense, defense, specialty players and coaches. Besides, last year our boys had 6 players on the all state team (3 off, 3 def) and left the 'boro without the hardware...The TFCA can keep the post season accolades, our boys will take the GOLD BALL AND RINGS and be just fine!!! Go Falcons...Every one of you were All State last Saturday!!!

BTW...Who in the heck is the TFCA anyway? Is this some Secret Handshake coaches committee?

This list is obviously a mistake or one big typo!!! There has to be more to this...usually it is split up into offense and defense...so I am sure there are many more that were not named in the article...SURELY! There a 2 players from Rutledge and Anderson County and 4 players from Crockett County...none of which made it past the quarterfinals. There are no players from the state champion Fulton's team or AE or Semifinalist Macon Co...Makes little sense! Cooter, His forty time is no fabrication. I was actually at the school visiting the coaches on the first day of preseason practice...they had all the kids out and were getting height, weight, vertical and forty times. I actually held one of the 3 stop watches when Stevens was running that day and I recorded a 4.40...the others recorded in the low 4.4s. So, from a first hand account I can tell you that he can fly. I think that his speed during the game may wear down a bit, considering he plays both ways and special teams. He has an incredible jump off the line, which is similiar to a track runner out of the starting blocks. Furthermore, his speed must be legit or I dont think UT would have even considered him. They probably had him in for a mini workout...but that fact I am unsure of. -MSmoker

Foolish Pride, If your team can step up and manage to make the semis...and that is the biggest of IFs...then we will actually be able see what a bunch of pretenders can do against the region that bested your's the last 3 years. So until then, take your high hopes, wishful thinking and trash talk TO THE HOUSE!!! Keep that kind of trash to yourself

KWalker I bet you enjoyed the title in much the SAME way that Boston and Robbie enjoyed it!!! I would even go so far as to say that you may have even had discussions with them and Mama Black about the achievements of the team and staff throughout the season!!! If, by some twist of fate, see the Blacks or any of the coaches in the coming months, tell them Congratulations for reaching the Milestone. It couldnt have happen to a better, more dedicated group of people!!!

We beat the top team in your Region 36-0...in elements conducive to their style of play...and you say that Fulton is not in the best region in the state?!?!? Furthermore, we had 3 teams in the top 5 in the state. Now tell me what kind of logic you are using...I know you cant see past your regional bias and your P Pride, but your medicinally enhanced logic is going from comical, to down right annoying.

AE Your argument (as usual) doesnt hold much water!!! As stated before...you are obviously taking up for her or you wouldnt be making excuses for her not liking Fulton. Personally, I dont care if she or any other ex-falcon that has her same views, ever roots or even steps a foot at one of our games. We would rather that they never supported our team...We dont need their type of support. It 'tis true that Harris is a fine athlete and is a threat to be concerned about...but to make those types of statements is outlandish. Stevens was one of the premier players in the state and could be one of the most dominanting players on offense, defense and special teams that I have seen at this level. He reminds you of a young Leonard Little of UT/STL Rams fame. Hopefully he get everything cleared up and land with a D1 school. But if not, that is ok, b/c there are tons of NFL players from smaller colleges...he definitely has that kind of potential in his future. Great Year Mookie and Great Year for the Mighty Falcons!!!

Question: Why, if a team loses 36-9 (actually not even that close), would there EVER be an MVP from the losing team? The MVP should be someone that helps a team win or puts a team in position to win the game...Covington was never in a position to win? Bottom Line: Stevens (and many other falcons) dominated the game on both sides of the ball. There was no domination by any Covington players!!! Like was stated before...dont want to take anything away from the Chargers (Congrats on the great year), but the better team won last Saturday!!! GO Falcons!!!!!!!

Sequatchie, I played for Knox Fulton in the late 80s thru early 90s and every summer we would scrimmage Sequatchie, either at our place, at yours or at camp at Chatt Baylor. Our head coach, Steve Brewer, I think played ball with the head coach from Sequatchie at Austin Peay, and thus the relationship. Is he still with you guys? If not, who is handling the head coaching duties?

So by your logic, we would need to beat all 58 teams in 3A to win the state!!! And NO you cant have a chance to show us, b/c you lost in the playoffs and couldnt make it to Bob Black field for the semis. And if you came, you would have been handled in much the same way as Macon and Covington were handled!!! Bottom line: Your team lost in the playoffs and underachieved...so quit the ifs, ands and buts!!!
