Yes ...but you can still PLAY them...you know just in case you want to builld a long-term program instead of having a real good team when you have a few athletes. Facts are facts. 5a Centennial is playing Brentwood Academy for their first game. Why??? Because they want to get better, play tough teams...you can't do do that by playing the Fayette-Ware's of the world....There simply is not any regions over there that are deep enough unless you count 1a and 2a...and I do not see any schools over there picking some big name opponents..

Correction , Memphis IS the best for buying players.....Memphis has the largest area of student population but where they should dominate they are pitiful.

There are some good teams over there in West Tn. But most of the teams have too easy of a schedule overall. Two or three tough games and that is it. Try some of these schedules in Mid-Tn. week in and week out. The last two years Crockett Co. has been tough but Their opponents composite won-loss record was abot 33 wins vs. 67 losses. It's hard to stack that up against the MIDDLE. By the way please check strength of schedules. I never see where they play hardly any private schools.

BA easy in this one...Flatt will keep down the score cause he will want to keep Centennial on the schedule. Cougar football could be set back 7 years if BA really turns loose. Watch the special teams in this one BA gets at least 2 td's here. That David guy forgot his medication and the delusions have returned.

sportsguy...try to remember Page is 3a and does not have 40 to 50 upperclassmen. Yes they played what they got even with many out with injuries. we both know that several of Centennial linemen played a lot longer and isn't that Bates kid a 3 yr. starter still in there late in the 2nd qtr. Jamboree over .....Time for Page to fight it out with Grundy and feel their way in 3a...meanwhile Centennial needs to get ready for BA and the possibility it could set their program back 7 years.

Obviously you have not seen much of the winged-T. It is the toughest to defend. Who does Grundy play that is any good??/ What about the spanking Grundy got in the scrimmages. If Howard is your toughest opponent it must be weak over there cause they made the playoffs one with 1 or 2 wins. Who is Grundy's "big Dawgs". Surely that radio guy doesn't play....

Fat cat ... Page was 4-6 against the toughest schedule they ever had. They played the 3a semi finalist and the 5a champs in Brentwood. Yes they had some knuckleheads but those close to the program know it was parents. Besides they showed a lot of heart on your field last year only to get beat in the last minute by a pass ?? interference?? call After what I saw on tape what you all did at Marshall don't tell me about heart. 5 new opponents will help anybody's heart. Anyway Grundy has WHO and What??? Besides being the stolen car capital of the state what does Grundy have? All I ever hear on here is some guy rattling on about Radio. No one mentions their Players or what they run....injury report?? Word is they got toasted in 2 scrimmages. Prediction Page 24-21

One and done for Greenbrier...coachhard.. they have never done "it" on the road...last yaer at Marshall Co. was awful, even you can't sugarcoat that. Sycamore still thinks the world is flat and ends at the Cheatham Co. line.. their coach idolizes the coach at Marshall and is badly intimidated....The combined score for the last five years is something like 212-23. Marshall has had their way for so many years ...Page is the only team in the past that has stood up to them. Has any other team in the region even come close to the tigers lately.

Simply put Marshall has the talent and as always a good schedule.. How about Coach Mac picking up Fayette-Ware who has only won one game in its entire history. Greenbrier always has excellent records at home(wonder why) but has never won a playoff game....That laydown job they pulled at Marshall co. last year was pitiful. Until the green show they can beat top notch competition on the road and I mean 3a and 4a look for a good record and a top 4 in the region and one and done. Page is too young. Sycamore thinks they are in 2a and plays no one tough outside the region. Mont central and Giles not on your life.....and anyone who thinks Creekwood is ready is nuts

Bottom line ..Page is a3a school and they don't have the luxury of all that 5a depth. Besides they had 4 def starters out and three on offense with 7 soph. starting. Yes they played them a lot .... they open next week and needed some testing. Centennial slipped up on some people last year with a very favorable schedule.... Bates is the real deal....but this year's schedule....7-4 I will be impressed.

How many people does Grundy have back? Or is this another team living off last year. Besides 3a in that area compares to what? What do they have for THIS YEAR???

Well, it seems boneal 52 still has trouble accepting the fact that Page still has bite. With this rivalry and 3a vs. 5a. those of us around the county know the players laid it all out there. Seems like a litle of the big head over at Centennial and remember this "ain't" last year Also Rebel 27 you need to know that there are other teams in the county. Your remarks that Page is out in the Sticks. The school is located only 2 miles further than yours from I-65. Page is 3A and I don't ever remember them backing down from anybody. Sounds like "sour grapes " you get beat and still make several excuses as to why....14-13 says it all.

every year a Mac" coached team will have a great record and play mostly non-contenders out of region to pad the stats....but always bites the dust in the quarters or less. you saw the true character of these teams fri at CC. no class whatsoever...maybe a little justice for beating a 1a school like loretto 63-6 a few years ago. the problem is mc practices all summer and by nov. they are done for...i believe their record speaks for itself...no one is going to get on a coach who averages a 9-2 record. they have only had 5 close games in their region in the four years that mac has been there. go back to his stay at moore co. and it is the same o same o....you will see the true character if they ever go 3-7....yes 45-0 is a little justice and they let down middle- tn. football as usual.

It is from Lexington. Their opponent from 5-3a said it was marshall county but not player-related. the coaches from the 5-3a schools are best buddies. Seems Marshall Co. cannot police boosters and friends of the program.

i am sorry but it did not look like cc rolled over page last year. you won because the ref was gutless and did call a touchdown on a qb sneak.23-21 over 3 seed that you thought you would trample..... if cheat co. brings their a game you will have trouble

Sorry you all feel the need to explain some things that were so Harmless....yeah right!!!. Please stop the drivel and face the facts...IT WAS POOR PLANNING FOR THE GUY TO BE THERE. what can you expect from the same poor sportsmanship from mc. The man should have stayed with his team. The TSSAA has already agreed that him being where he was was poor judgment and poor sportsmanship.

I was on the sideline and I spoke with this person. Question? Why was he on Page's sideline and not mc's Question? Why was he signaling numbers? could it be 2 for coverage 2 or 3 for coverage 3 Question? Why did he tell at least 2 players he was there for the local franklin station? Question? Why did he turn tail and run to the mc side when confronted by an adult on the page side who asked a lot of questions Question? let's not be so naive that he could send signal for run or pass. He was always hollering at the defensive players yes it is on tape. Question? All of this took place in the first mc17--page0 second half the spy is gone and page outscores mc 7-6 Comment---- I was there and like I said he acted very suspicious and we have the stuff on tape. It makes our stomach turn to think we have to watch our backs.I was there and i don't like the idea that other people would imply we made this guy up His actions were thoroughly wrong, sneaky and misleading. gee i am so glad to see such high and mighty sarcasm. the film shows the play as a fumble. otherwise the spot would have been where the greenbrier player was knocked to the ground not where the refs placed the ball where page recovered. the correct score is page 13 greenbrier 12 five for blind mice 6. yeah what if the refs would have ate the hamburgers and got indigestion and the second half could have been decided by the players on the field

your team plays hard they just don't have good back-ups oh by the i have seen you get blown out by spring hill page and steve jones with brentwood knocked you into the fb carrying the ball. of course you are one of the back-ups.....sorry

you have some teams on here that will be smoked in the first round. you know trousdale is very good But they have played only one decent team and have only one decent team left on the schedule. their combined wins/loss will pobably be 31-78. good news is everyone should be healthy cause there will be no physical teams and the east is weak until the semis...by the way the west is very weak this year...all offense and no defence..

congrat to the bobcats.. they have a good team.. however the score should read page 13--greenbrier 12AND no call fumble 6...that was an unbelievable miss by the refs and the game film shows it............the kids all played hard and clean but refs should never decide games...shame on ronnie carter and the lack of qualified refs... you will see what i mean when you go to marshall co and get some of those alabama refs...

This was never in doubt cause the Sycamore coaches have never learned how to defend the wing T . Marshall has beat them the last 4 years by a combined score of about 150 to 20

it is a shame that such a disorganized and non-hustling group of refs could affect such a game. The hit that caused THE fumble was clearly recovered by page with no greenbrier players even close. the refs were out of position and did not see it. also the greenbrier qb had too intentional groundings that the refs had a brain spasm and called one a fumble and the other they waved off
