  1. Great season! Any time you go ten and 0 you should be very proud. There is no reason to mention Sevier County in this thread though. Sevier County has done wonderful things just like GP has. I'm proud of our county teams for all the acomplishments they have had this years and in the past. You know Sevier County won it all in 99', but there is no need to say that GP has not. They both have great programs in their own classification, and if you're from this area you should recognize that. Be proud of your team, but don't try to take shots at another team that represents your county, that you dont have to contend with to make you feel better. Once again GREAT SEASON GP and good luck to the purple this week against the owls.
  2. I wish you the best of luck, but if you are in a money pool you may need to reconsider your prediction. I love my teams, but if they are overmatched I will pick the other side and still pull for them or not pick at all.
  3. Didnt really even out. Im not a fan of either team, but the "fumble" ended up being a 14 point turn around becuse Catholic scored on the next play.
  4. The Blackman people did a wonderful job and were very hospitable. They also have a wonderful facility.
  5. It depends on the player. A coach must correct players in different ways. Some you can yell at others you have to comfort. Its a huge job, as a coach, to know how to get each player going individualy. A coach should never curse a player at the high school level. It happens everyday, but it is not neccesary.
  6. I'm not insulted, but I did witness the game and that is 100% the final. Not sure why PF didn't go for 2 and make it a 3 point game but it was the final.
  7. Yes, Pigeon Forge scored with 21 seconds left. Can you tell me though how you would change a score?
  8. How do you correct an incorrect score on the scoreboard? Pigeon Forge won tonight 21-19. They did not lose 19-14.
  9. Seymore 10 Pigeon forge 3. The final on here is wrong, it was not 40-0. How do you correct that?
  10. Pigeon Forge vs. Claiborne is on Thursday
  11. Sevier County final was 30-19 not 23-13.
  12. Shrtstop2000, I'm not exactly sure. I pay $29, but I am a links card member. It is no more than $40 this time a year, and well worth it. If you get a chance to play it, do. Also, give me a reply if you play and let me know what you think. HIT EM' WELL
  13. Clipper, thank you for the list. I agree with the list for the most part. It sure seems like you know what your talking about. Eagles Landing from the tips is hands down the hardest coarse on the list and maybe the toughest in the state. I think it is harder than The Honors Coarse from the back tees if you stay out of the "love grass" at the Honors. The only one I would argue with is Stonehenge over River Island. I play River Island a lot and when I played at Tech we used to play Stonehenge weekly. Stonehenge is a great coarse, but personally I feel it is slightly over rated because of its name and tradition. I would probably flip flop the 2 coarses if I were making the list.
  14. River Islands is a great track in Knox County. It is on the Sevier County line. It has 6 holes on an island and 2 par 3's that are long and all carry over the French Broad River. They have the best fairways in Tennessee, but they have a little trouble with their greens. The greens are better than most, but are not as good as some of the better coarses in the state.
  15. I've sceen film on Sullivan North and they don't look as strong as usual. (no offense) At the same time Pigeon Forge is not playing up to their patential either, so I am looking for a great game. I wish the boys luck on both sides of the ball, this is a huge game. If the 2 teams continue playing the way they are they're going to have problems with Seymour and Rutledge, though I think both are capable of beating either one if they play to their abilities.
  16. Sienfield, Powell Valley doesn't exist anymore. They combined with Forge Ridge to make Cumberland Gap. Good luck to both teams Friday. A.J. I hope you have a career night, you boys need something good to go your way soon. You have played well, with little to show for it. Go get a victory not just a moral victory. Best of luck, I'm pullen' for you!
  17. Pigeon Forge High has a great 2 way player in Josh Bugh. Last week he had 180 yards on 11 touches , with 4 TD's, plus a 60 yard TD called back for a hold. He is the second leading tackler on the team at his linebacker position behind Paul Breighner. With his great performance on offense he also had a 64 yard interception return for his 5th TD of the game. (He's just a junior)
  18. I feel Sevier County has the best stadium in East Tennessee, but Oak Ridge has my favorite home side of a stadium. Though not a fan it is electrifying on Friday nights.
  19. Muffin I agree with the score you just have the teams backwards.
  20. UCFAN1234, I hope your right. I have a lot of respect for UC, especially your quarterback. He really impressed me last week, with his arm and his character. I wish you the best of luck against Rutledge (a good football team), and I think you will have no problem with Claiborne. I don't know about Sullivan North yet, but Seymour may be to high of a hurdle to climb. Best of luck the rest of the year. DAHC
  21. In no particular order Seymour, Pigeon Forge, Sullivan North, and Rutledge
  22. A.J. did play, and well. He threw the deep ball amazing, as a matter of fact he threw most of hid balls outstanding. He passed for just under 300. On the other side Pigeon Forge rushed for just under 300, with Josh Bugh gaining about 160. It was a fun tennis match, your head would go right then left and so on. Congrats to the Tigers. Good luck to both squads.
  23. I have no idea who the best linebacker is in Tennessee, but as a pair Pigeon Forge has 2 horses. (Josh Bugh and Paul Breighner(brig-ner))
  24. With all do respect, Pigeon Forge will be the much better "team" on Friday night. UC has a very good quarterback, but he needs some help.
