    Best Hitters

    Is there any doubt? Kyler Burke HR-18 3B-5 2B-7 Avg-.536 RBI-52 SLUG%-1.412 BB-34
  3. Charles Little is playing on ESPN 2 @ 7:30 tonight!
  4. Waht about BC or Cleveland? I know they are not in Chattanooga, but neither is Red Bank.
  5. Ooltewah boys won by that score. Ooltewah girls lost by a different score.
  6. He sure did a good job in turning around the football program in one year. Too bad it was Warren County's.
  7. Ooltewah may have not beaten Cleveland in a while, but all you Cleveland fans must admit that there have a been some very good games between the Owls and the Raiders over the past few years. However, this will not be a very good game. Ooltewah is in a rebuilding year, and it may be a while before they start continding for that 6AAA championship again. Ooltewah has lost a total of 12 seniors over the past two years. Also, there are a number of players that decided not to play this year so they can consintrate on football and baseball. Where did Little end up going to college, and how's he doing?
  8. Halftime Ooltewah - 5 Farragut - 7
  9. I can't say he will win it hands down. In my mind Spencer Gulmire should win it in 5A. Here's a dark-horse pick, Blake McDade from Ooltewah.
  10. These two teams remind me a lot of the Colts and Patriots. With Ooltewah being the Colts and Farragut being the Pats. Every time they play Ooltewah has a distinct advantage on paper with there highpowered offence. However Farragut has all the intangibles much like the Patriots. Farragut just has had Ooltewah's # over the past few years, but hopfully that will change Friday. Good news, Colts won last night!
  11. I heard that Caldwell had to be helped off the field more than once Friday night. Is that true and how's he doing?
  12. Ooltewah Rushing, Caldwell-241+Hydas-59+Marshall-21= 324yds Passing, Woods- 134 yds Receiving, McDade-109, Lowe-25 yds Soddy Daisy Rushing, Zimmerman-76+Dobbs-22+Woodall-15= 126 yds Passing, Dobbs-235 yds Receiving, Atchley-108+Zumbrun-66+Zimmerman-37 McDade and Lowe each with interception for OHS Ooten for Soddy also with interception.
  13. Red Bank's D is just to immpressive. RB - 21 Hixson - 0 (The game will be on CSS)
  14. Soddy will be hyped up for this one. They've been looking forward to this game since the one Ooltewah stole last year. I could be mistaken, but I think this is also their homecoming game.
  15. If both Ooltewah and WB win this week, Ooltewah will be 8-2 and WB will be 6-4. So Ooltewah will be #3 and WB will be #4 in the region. (if OR wins)
  16. Who is having a year like McDade? I'm not arguing, I just want want to know. You have to consider the kind of impacts the players are having on their teams. McDade is probably their offensive and defensive MVP. I know that Woods and Caldwell have had better years on offense, but he's a key blocker for Caldwell and he really opens up the passing game for Woods. If you throw out all the names of the "D1 canididates" and go strictly on stats, McDade would definatly be near the top of the Mr. 5A list.
  17. Well if the tiebreaker is overall record against .500 or better teams, then they will still be tied, I think. So then what's the next tiebreaker?
  18. I completly agree with the Cookeville ranking. Last time I checked, you were supposed to win the football games, which is exactly what they done, and in pretty impressive fashion as I might add. Maybe Ooltewah and Cookeville can meet up again in the playoffs. Hope so! We'll see!
  19. Oak Ridge should and will be favored for this game. But I'm going to have to disagree with most of ya'll. I think Farragut will pull this one out. I just think that this is their year to take home the crown (call it a gut feeling). And what better way to do it than win at Oak Ridge. Ya'll can talk stats all you want but Farragut has the intangibles that Oak Ridge lacks. I know that you can't compare the Farragut-Ooltewah, OR-Ooltewah games, but you don't just beat Ooltewah 35-7 like Farragut did and then sweep it under the rug. (I can't remember the last time they were beat that bad) Farragut 21 OR 20
  20. Ooltewah finally lived up to the hype they had at the beginning of the season. They were ranked #3 in the state for a reason, they really are that good. Some injuries have held them back, but when the playoffs roll around, you better look out. With this win, Ooltewah belives they can beat anyone in the state, and thats a scary thing.
