I agree.Hoping Schlicht wins but for some reason it just seems players from West Tenn doesn't get the recognition.

Think it can be a close game.I know I get on here and talk about WC a lot but hoping they pull out a win.

Good luck to all the teams in our region.Think Dresden and Union City wins.Lake Co and Middle maybe a toss up and South Fulton losing cause of team they playing and don't think defense can stop Brown.Id say the same thing if LC was playing Mase.But think next year,SF going to be at top or near top of region.Think they will finish anywhere from first to 3rd and LC fighting Gleason,Others for 4th

But also can see players on winning teams that don't have to do as much and have other players take away from their stats and in some cases,get pulled early in blowouts.But all are deserving.

Again.Not saying Franklin isn't deserving.Maybe should be at top of list along with Mullins simply cause of great stats and everyone keying on them making them earn it as not having other players help them out.Just know most of the time,players on teams with not so great records don't usually make it over players on very good teams.

about the same as our player at LC this year.Probably had to ride him to get any wins at all,same as LC.

Mullins had similar stats on more carries but was basically one man show Also started on defense,Special teams,.But knew he wasn't going to make list cause of losing record and where Lake Co is located.

I'm not saying he's not deserving.But surprised simply cause of the teams losses.Same as Mullins.Id bet Mullins has comparable numbers if not better and played against Dyersburg,Dresden,Union City,JCS.,much tougher competition.How did Franklin do against Moore Co?

Who actually votes on these players? I'm guessing it's newspaper writers instead of coaches.Which means there's probably only 3 or 4 in West Tenn.Just curious.

I'd think any of the players on a winning team has a great chance and deserves it.

Congrats to all the finalists.Figured Dresden player would be on it as well as South Pitts and Moore Co player.No matter if you think Franklin should win and maybe he's real deal.But surprised he's on list with his team having 4 losses.Doubt his stats are better than Lake Co running back Mullins.I have said I didn't think Mullins would make it with LC record.But they only lost one more game than Cornersville and played toughest schedule in state for Single A.So after seeing this,I can see even if Lake Co went 9 and 1 or 8 and 2,Mullins has no chance just like Snyder.Voters are biased.Abd again.Not saying he's not deserving.But a Mr Football with 4 losses?Then Mullins should made list with the stats he has plus the schedule LC has played whether he'd win it or not..Hope Dresden player wins it but after seeing the votes in previous years.Doubt he really has a chance.

I agree.LC needs more help from their QB running and from Chamberlain.Defense is always a worry .If Middle has lots of talent on offense,could be a long night.If they are more like some of the lesser teams LC has played,maybe be ok.Ive seen some scores.Think I remember a few 50 and 60 points games from Middle.Could be a shootout.Think Wild Bill said Mase fumbled 6 times.And can't rember.Did Brown play?

I looked at their schedule and they looked to score lots of points also.Maybe against teams comparable to Gleason,Humboldt,Greenfield,teams that Lake Co score lots of points against.Could be a shootout.And they could also be better defensively than Lake Co
