It's easy to do when both region 5 and 6 have 10 teams each. 4A-7 and 4A-8 only have 5 teams each, nice parity. Another thing, 4a east tennessee teams have a guaranteed spot in the finals since regions 1 - 4 belong to them. Oh well, the T$$AA classfications needs work.

I remember their crowd and their bull$%#* chant a few years ago when they didn't agree with a ref's call in in the '97 finals. Don't blame this on the environment, people make and can change the envrionment.

Did you happen to notice that their website gives directions to White House High School and not the field? Some of them may be in for a surprise Friday night! How about the Clarksville NW pre-game team dance at midfield last night dandy82? Too bad their dance routine was better than their game. White House has had a full week to fix that score board, it was screwing up at last weeks game. Someone needs to tell the locals that the score board isn't going to fix itself!

How many people here realize that with the exception of alternative schools for problem students and Tennessee Prep, there are no public schools in Davidson County with 1A, 2A or even 3A enrollment? Davidson County being a metropolitan government, in its' infinite wisdom decided that bussing students was the answer to desegregation. Yeah, right. Parents that live in Davidson County have few choices when it comes to sending their child to a small enrollment school that has sports programs. Move to another county or private school education. How many private school bashers would feel the same way if bussing for whatever reason was mandated by your local government for your county? If all you want to do is whine about this perceived problem, then consider joining your schools' drama club to vent those emotions!

The way the regions are currently drawn in 4A, east Tennessee has an automatic spot in the BCBS game. Regions 1 through 4 consists of schools in east Tennessee, duh! I'll say 2A is probably the most competitive.

i heard he got suspended from school a couple of days for bringing a cell phone into class. yep it rung! i think he should be back friday. oh for the good ole days when it was CB radios and they stayed in your vehicle. LOL Heheh, should've set it to vibrate!

Oh boo hoo! Another jab at the private institutions from a narrow minded individual. Not all private schools recruit, geez you people just love beating a dead horse! Get over it already. That's why I do not like college or pro football, they recruit bigtime! Good coaches and their assistants play who they feel is ready and will substitute when the time is right. Do not most games start with the "favorite" players. Hopefully the ranks of the coaches that play favorites based on personal relationships and not performance is few and far between.

It's a shame when a child passes away at such a young age. I cannot imagine the pain his family is going through right now. To his family and friends, be strong and take care.
