I think alot of teams have this problem. I do not know of the girl you are talking about, but I do understand how you feel. Sometimes the coach puts so much pressure on one player, that he/she feels what she is doing is needed and thats what he/she is supposed to be doing. Some players are babied, and thats what bothers me the most. When a so called "great" player makes a mistake, (more than twice) and the coach just pats him/her on the back and says "its okay" and if another player does the same mistake,(once) they get chewed out, and get put on the bench. I think no matter how good you are, you need disicipline. And then there are players who want all the glory! He/She is hurting the team, this is when the coach needs to step up and take charge. The coach needs to set boundaries, and if they are crossed, he/she can take a seat on the bench. BaSkEtBaLL is a TEAM sport.. ONE PERSON WONT TAKE YOU FAR!!

How can you say "good game"?? JC didnt play well at all! It is counted as a WIN, but its not a win to brag about. I wouldn't blame the refs either, I thought it was called pretty fair! Courtney Childress did hit some HUGE freethrows though! ---u got this---

Would this team camp be for incoming freshman or freshman who are going to become sophomores?? i think that it would be a great idea!! it would give some great experience to all the players!.. and i know that camps area always fun!! I love to compete!! (anohter vote from middle tn!!)

Does Tyson Stover play for this team??? will these young men go to LA next year for their HS career??

In the Jackson County Sentinel, it read that they were not looking for a coach in the Jackson County area. They said that no one was interested. So, I took it as they were looking for a coach out of county.

Lately, all I hear about is transfer roomers... Like all the transfer rumors on the "PICKETT COUNTY" thread.. I'm just wondering if any of these are true??!! such as Bobby Knight and Jon Godwin transferring to Celina. I think that they should wait to see what kind of coach they get for JC since Coach Taylor has resigned!! If they were to get a good coach in, they could have a great season!! Knight and Godwin could be the stars of that team!! They are both very talented.. GoodLuck in whatever desicion you boys make!! and the coach Asberry and his son, Alan transferring back to Pickett rumor.. i think that they(upperman) are going to have a great season this year! they have an awesome team if they will just stick together!! i dont see the reason to transfer??? well that is just my opinion.!.
