You are correct. West High School has proven to be a top notch team in the last couple of seasons. It will be interesting to see how well they do this coming season againts the likes of Farragut, Bearden and Maryville which I assume will probably be rebuilding this year?

Knoxville has had some good teams in the past with some very talented players. If all these good players played in the same team then it may or would be a different story. So to make it short, Knoxville is really not that big and has quite a number of smaller age groups developing so it will not be long before these kids start making some noise in tn.

Is Italy no good? Are the Czechs overrated? How many world cups has the US won? I am telling you, this group is by far the hardest because of the amount of talent that is in this group. I just dont know if the US can handle the pressure. Also, why was Italy picked as one of the 8 top teams when it came to drawings?...

There is no way the US is making it the 1st Round no matter who shows up to play. Maybe in 2010.

I dont see the US making it past the first round. They lost to Morocco who has won what? Where in the world are they located? Oh well I guess that kind of competition will get you ready for....nothing.

Well, thats the way the game goes. Sometimes the Best team doesnt win the game, and neither does the team that plays the "prettiest", its usually the team with the most goals....

I didnt expect a close game between CAK and CPA but I guess it happens. Bearden and Farragut meet in the State Final as well as CAK and Catholic,

Catholic should be able to win this one in a very close game, however upsets happen and they do often.

So Houston is from the West? I've heard of this Houston team, and its all been good. So Im guessing they win by 2.

soulman, yes I have seen and played against Farragut before. They are a good team and Im still sticking with my prediction. I have not seen Riverdale play or have even heard of them for that matter, Im sure they are good since they've managed to stay in this long but Farragut is the better team and will honestly give them more than they can handle. But then again there could be an upset.

Riverdale must be good, as they've stayed in this far. I still believe Farragut will give them more than they can handle and take the win by 2-3 goals.

These two teams meet earlier in the season and I believe CCS won that game. I have a feeling Catholic will pull this one off.

CAK is a pretty good team. Good luck trying to shut them down. They are one of the best teams from the East side of town...

Congrats to Bearden. Its great to have 4 teams come from the Knoxville area with Catholic and CAK representing in A-AA and Farragut and Bearden representing in A-AAA in the State tourney....Represent the east and especially Knoxville well boyz!

Well, seeing how this is the 3rd time they play, with the first being a draw and the second a win for the Irish, Im guessing the Irish take the win again. If the Irish had won the first game, then CAK would win this one but since it was a tie...The Irish take this one again...Catholic in a PK Shotout..

Bearden beat O.R in season 2-0 but its knock out time, therefore it may be a different outcome today. O.R pulled out a winning goal in the last minutes of play against Westso dont count them out just yet.

Who makes it to the final? My 2 cents Farragut vs. Maryville ...
