  2. JIM PRESNELL. If he's not the best coach in the state he is Def. the most improved. He has turned the Elizabethton CC team from nothing, into state contenders. Coming from nowhere last year, EHS lost to FRA by 2 pts with a runner on a broken foot. No one saw them coming last year, but this year they have made some noise. CONGRATS TO JIM PRESNELL FOR TURNING NOTHING INTO ALOT
  3. thanx guys. ur support is well appreciated. i think everyone in Betsy is starting to realize cross country is a sport. to those who can, please come support next week in Nashville. it may be quite exciting.
  4. who can beat mitch cornett @ 160??? they are few.
  5. Elizabethton had Chris Jenkins in the 1980's. He won the AAA 1600 in 4:17 his senior year with ease. there are tales: one meet he ran the 800- 2:00, 400-50.0, 4x400- 51 just for a workout
  6. once again, disregard the elizabethton guys. i apologize.
  7. Houston is the best team in the state. hands down. no one touched them at the TN classic. they had 'em packed in
  8. once again i apologize for my teams's cockiness. disregard any more BS put on here by Elizabethton guys. hey boys, SHUT UP.
  9. e town sneaks in last year. and now we're a top a/aa team???? and yes we are running Furman.
  10. i run varsity for elizabethton. i want to apologize for everyone starting those dumbass threads. most of them are jv guys. we're not that good. don't worry about us.
  11. i enjoyed it thoroughly. we have 3 out of 4 for next year. maybe another exciting year.????
  12. thats exactly right. my middle school had a 300 meter gravel square.
  13. After the last event of the night at state, (a-aa 4x400) which we got 5th in, i returned to the end of the track where check-in was, to find that my backpack, that i had been leaving there b4 each race i ran(3), had been taken. After a good 20 minutes of asking around and searching, my friend lindsey told me she saw a back pack like mine on the other side of the field. As it turns out it was under BA's tent, and i became quite perterbed. I was rude to the people that were standing there, which i apologize for,but TELL ME how one of the richest private schools that was there is gonna take my backpack???? its messed up. and yes i will accept an apology from anyone who goes to BA.
  14. Seriously, there is so much the TSSAA could do to make the Track State Meet so much better. Why have it in the least central location when a better track is available in the most central location? well sir, i am all for getting it in Nashville, but then FRA and Lipscomb might have a little "homefield" advantage. just a thought??
  15. thanks a lot. i know this sounds like straight up BS, but that win is dedicated to all the small schools w/ an up and coming program and who are lacking in facilities. (asphalt boys). we run as a team and win as a team
  16. thank ya, we'd like to do it again next year. who do u run for?
  17. thats cold son. truthfully we can run 6 to 7 diff. guys on the 4x800 team. its hard to rmmbr who was on that team.
