Am I missing something here, or can it be summed up like this: It was the regular season, it was controversial, people made mistakes on all 3 sides of the ball, you can debate it all decade. BUT isn't there a possibility (likelyhood) these two teams will meet in the playoffs? If so, who cares what happened in the regular season? Win in the playoffs, and end it. Liek I said, tho, maybe I'm missing something.

ie, yup, I work with Channel 4... I actually do the play-by-play for our middle school teams up here during their season. Only been here 2 years, haven't had time to unseat the GOBs for the high school coverage yet Just kidding really, they do a great job. Be more than happy to make you a copy, I'm making a copy of the Scott-AC game for a mother of one of the AC players this afternoon, as a matter of fact... strange the visiting team wants one, but I guess TV coverage isn't too common. ;P We follow both Scott High and Oneida everywhere, radio and TV, and it's alot of fun. Wish I could make it, maybe soon you'll come on over here for a game. and ???, Oneida has improved greatly, basically since the Midway game... it really put a burr under their saddle (not to mention a fire under their ...es) and they've been blazing since, beating Greenback and CAK in consecutive weeks... they're dangerous right now, if the emotion holds out. Well see Friday!

Tough week... maybe you could talk to Coalfied's coach, get his feelings on not making it... other than that, I can't help ya much with ideas

Ah, right here in the area, Coalfield should be there, in my opinion, and Cosby at 1-9 shouldn't. But that's the way it goes.

This may not be what the topic is looking for, but I've always been fond of the play action fake. You show me a good fake, and I'll expect to see a QB with approx 6 seconds to find something to do with the ball, and open receivers to catch it.

Man, this all goes back to that whole "definition of the MVP" thing. From the definition of most valuable to his team, absolutely he should win. But I'm not going to get into that. I think this region has a chance to surprise a few people (Cloudland) if they come to play against region 1 like they do against each other in region 2. I've never seen aan area that bases their weekend/Monday happiness on how their kids fared against their latest region opponent. If it was non-region, it's not so bad. I realize many other places are like that, but of course I live here, so it's magnified. Indiana football doesn't come close... basketball, maybe, but that's a different board Looking forward to Friday!

Oneida definately does... they kept their streak of A. F. Bridges sportsmanship awards alive in 2002-2003, winning for at least the 5th year running... great bunch of kids, coaches, parents, and administrators. Scott High has also won a few awards, and they're just as good a bunch of folks there.

Well, I can't say the coaches at Scott County... hrm... I guess Karns is as good a choice as any, there's a number that have done a great job this year

Easy now, children, relax. Despite everything the men in stripes have to do with anything, Anderson needs to overcome some key injuries to move far. They've admitted publicly that their offense has been disappointing at times this year, and yet they still made the playoffs, so it can't be all bad. If AC comes out as they are certainly capable of doing, they'll hold their own against anyone. If they falter as they have a few times, look out.

Cherokees... so it must have been those "injuries" that got your butt stomped by Oneida, right? Thought maybe. See ya next week.
