Does anyone know what the brackets look like for the Girls tournament? What about the Division II Invitational tournament?

the question was... is it legal, not is it good for the wrestler. The answer is yes, TSSAA allows it if the middle and high schools are on the same campus.

it does not matter if their middle school season is over. An 8th grader can participate in high school athletics as long as the middle school is on the same campus as the high school or something like that. It may be that they have to do one or the other, I am not sure about that. (either wrestle 8th or high school) But I do know they can bring them up after the season but they can also wrestle varsity all year. I think many schools keep the kids participating in the middle school until there season is over and then give them a chance to wrestle some varsity. (or they just bring them up if they are actually that good)

actually I have heard many complaints in the area of soccer. Private schools dominate A/AA.

Chargers of CCS beat the Chargers of McMinn Central in OT. This is a big win for CCS over a quality team. CCS is playing without their best player but I think McMinn Central's #10 didnt play in the second half even though McMinn Central played better in the second half. The officials were a little crazy but don't think it was biased toward one team just bad overall.

were the police involved? Heard a similar report on the Red Zone radio show. Were their arrests? I try not to put too much stock in one report but seems like the stories are similar.

maybe it could be put to music and used for the 'are you ready for some football' tune for Monday night football. It may be a little to literary though

do you have any idea who won between ND at Cleveland or a score between CCS and Ooltewah? Should be good championship game. (FRA vs CCS)

I saw on the furman website that he had a td catch in a scrimmage earlier this year but didn't see his name in the stats for yesterday. Has he been redshirted? With his size and athletic ability, I would think he would be ready to play this year but he may need a year.

It seems Bradley Central, Cleveland and Walker Valley all compete for kids coming out of Cleveland Middle School, Ocee Middle school and Lake Forrest. There my be another middle school involved as well. Correct me if I am wrong but it seems that the feeder school is hard to define in this case. Scenerio-- head football coach at Cleveland HS goes to Lake Forrest and talks to kids about Cleveland football. (when practice starts, summer workouts and stuff like that) I am sure there are other systems that have similar problems. (not saying the Clev football coach does this, just using it as an example)

What live stat programs are used by high schools. I guess what we are looking for is a laptop program that can do stats during the game. Are there certain programs that people have used? I have seen palm pilots being used but it seems like a laptop program in the press box would work better.

Do public school 8th graders participate in high school spring practices? I.E. Red Bank 8th grader goes to Red Bank High School spring practice? Does the Red Bank coach contact them? This may be different since they are zone for the school. I am interested in how the definition of enrolled used by TSSAA applies to other situtation. Fall sports are in session for three weeks before kids officially enroll (three days of school). Seems like there would be a lot of violations out there during the summer.

Having two of the best coaches in Tennessee doesn't hurt the Red Raiders. Losing just three seniors, probably have some studs waiting in line to have their chance.

CAK won 2-1. Good game for Humefogg they scored first, CAK answered like a minute later CAK scored the game winner in the second half. Humefoog played well. CAK can thank ND for knocking out Knox Catholic in the quarters although it would have been good to see CAK play Catholic for the fifth?? time. Peace....
