  1. Mitchell has great skill players, but I think their o-line is also outstanding. They are the only team I,ve seen that was bigger Than Lawrence Co.'s line. They dominated the los in that game! scoring 54 points.
  2. It's great to see you post again!Too bad about your Wolverines!
  3. Liberty is a relatively new school(Less than 10 years old I think) They don't have as many celebrated Alumni who live to post on coacht as Giles Co. does.Plus They've got a great football team.
  4. The T$$AA assigns all play-off officials. They're assigned from an association neither team uses.
  5. Yea. We know #12's not that good. Dufus and the clan tell us that all the time. Can't throw it. Can only toss it over 10 yards if there's a strong wind blowing the ball. Slow footed. Can't take a hit. Disappears usually by the 4th quarter. Heck. If I was a Liberty coach he's the last one I would worry about. Just ignore him. He will not be a factor. Hasn't been all year. His shoes are not tied tight either. Teammates say he sleeps during practice. Never watches film. Two of his finger nails are longer than the others. His long hair gets in his eyes. Falls down a lot. Only weighs 135 lbs. He's really 5"4". He can't read or write so Liberty can hold up signs to call their defense. Hands the ball off with the wrong hand. Word is he's scared to death on every play. You right Lexalumi. You & dufus and the clan have a good turkey day. Already know the game plan. Since we can't catch Crowder the coaches are putting #1 at the 5 yard line to give him a hot dog and a coke every time he comes by Old man, you sure do get on to me a lot about starting stuff and here lately that's all you do. How about looking in the mirror before you criticize me You doing that is no worse than me ragging Bo. You were right about him not being able to read or write though Oh and am I dufus or part of the clan? I thought that #4 was a very good option QB for Lexington. He's a Biddy-Biddy Boo-Boo !
  6. Yeah, if OC wants to get away from football for a few years.Warren County would be the perfect place!
  7. This could turn out to be the marquee game in 1A.
  8. Stakes are alittle higher this time. How will the off-week affect the wildcats?
  9. I've heard that same word.It seems OC is tired and wants to get as far away from football as possible.
  10. It sounds like both teams are in for a case of culture shock.
  11. MUS 35-7 Alcoa could be division 2 ,But they don't have to charge tuition. They use public funds.
  12. Dont know what lewis county is complaining about, they played 3-1A schools but they lost them I am not from Lewis Co. I was just using them as the example. Heck I don't have to use them take CPA this year, they have to play 4 4a schools and that put them out of the playoffs. Same thing with East Lit. The 4A schools in Middle Tn are better than those in the East and West so the 3a teams in those districts got screwed. That would be asking White House to play a district schedule like this Beech, Hendersonville, Station Camp, and Gallatin. White House wouldn't make the playoffs if they had to do that. The TSSAA is going to keep this plan 1 more year because of 2-year game contracts. As for CPA They are a private school that picks and chooses their enrollment. If they are unhappy they can play Division 2 where everybody gives scholarships.East Lit. is a magnet school that can attract students from all parts of Metro The 4a schools of which you speak are stuck with whatever is left over(Except for Lipscomb) and whats left over mostly does notmake its way onto the playing fields, but rather into the courtrooms.

  14. Oh, it is fine with Giles County. Always has been. Back in the 80's, there was so much anamosity coming from the rest of the county because Richland was in the front seat. Always made me chuckle because the local paper would have G.C. on the front page detailing how close the G.C. game was even though they lost by 40 while richland was on the third with a brief mention of their 40 point blow out. All of the commissioneers and school board members are G.C. alumni or their kids attend G.C. that was 20 yrs. ago!!!!! Couldn't this be viewed as some kind of "incompetence" by the school board for allowing this man to coach this long with a losing record? I don't care how much they "love " GC, shouldn't they be required to provide a competent person to coach the football team? If he were a teacher, and his test scores were as low, wouldn't the state come in and put him on probabtion or something? This whole scenario just doesn't make any sense. A coach with his kind of losing record usually isn't kept on board for as long as he has been kept. Just smells fishy! Ask the Assisstant Giles Co. School Director
  15. Would th game be played tomorrow if the 7 plagues of Egypt arrive around gametime?(as forecasted by many fearless weather prognosticators)
  16. Is it true that Collinwood is going to wear black jersies? Why would they do that?
