When did Hampton and Unaka play?

What does uc do other then just play physical? How good are there players?

Cloudland won by 10 and Johnson co. Shot around 30 foul shots. Neither team hit many layups but cloudland missed 5 open layups on the break with no one on them. Need to be at the game to report it correctly.

Cloudland had 2 foul out and unicoi had 2 foul out.

Elizabethton,cloudland,morristown, and lenoir city looked pretty good

These are very good wins. I didn't know they beat elizabethton. That was a very good win, what camp was this?

We at Cloudland know that all teams in 4a are good teams. Each game we play this season will be a tough battle, especially once tournament time gets here! The lack of discipline comment could go towards the girls that quit... not wanting to practice hard, not wanting to practice more, not wanting to let someone else play in front of them and pouting about it. That could be a thread in itself, for any team or sport. But really, what does he and his team success have to do with this thread and how the boys are doing?

King, Sometimes convictions tend to cause sleepless nights! All the things that were said had NOTHING to do with basketball, so I'm not sure why you brought it to this thread. Let it be over and done with and good luck the rest of the season.

krichANTIunaka, Once again you show your ignorance. All season long you have supported every team but your own namesake. the Lady Rangers played the best game they have played all year against one of the best teams. No one excepted this young team to make it out of 1st round of regionals (screenandroll) but they exceeded and ended up playing in a substate game. The girls did not play as well in the regional championship, thus they had to travel to Oliver Springs. Had you been at the game, you would be bragging about the level of play instead of bashing that "they played 2 quarters". Thanks for your support, maybe you can try to be better next year.

who would be the coach to brainstorm behind these dream teams?

I'm going to pull for the Rangers on this one too. Not giving any points because it will be VERY close. I hope I have fingernails left at the end of the game! Good luck Lady Rangers!!!!

Isn't the record for the Lady Rangers 27-1? Since Happy Valley forfeited the game for this Friday that would make a win for the Rangers.

but didn't you have a chance to reschedule the Unaka game and you chose not to? someone had a freshman game or something? why not play before next week? maybe on a Saturday? Didn't you have an idea of when the tournaments were going to be so you would have a sense of mind to not schedule games that close together? who does the scheduling anyway?

To set the record straight, I was not trying to get a game up between the two teams I was just giving my opinion why Unaka should be in the #1 spot and Elizabethton in the #2 spot. There is also no heartburn with any of the girls. They are a great group of very talented basketball players and by no means am I putting any of them down. I am sure if you ask the Lady Cyclones if they wanted to play the Lady Rangers they all would say "YES" I know most of these girls and they are all athletes and love compitition and would jump at the chance. However, someone with a little more authority says no because if we beat them it will look bad. Happy Valley on the other hand is also a AA school and they play the Lady Rangers. WOW why is this? If the challenge is there and you don't take it how can you be #1. I love horses they are so pretty and useful. by Sportiemom Have you heard the one about Happy Valley? They now do not want to play Unaka because it will interfere with them getting ready for their tournament!! They let Johnson County beat them, but they don't want to play Unaka because they will be 'to tired' to play at tournament time! So they are willing to forfiet a county game to possibly get put out in the 1st game in the tournament.

Unaka Lady Rangers are 20-1. not bad.

way to go Lady Rangers! big win with final score 55-49. The girls played hard and never gave up. The Ensors' (Renee and Danielle) Julie, and Jessie played great on both ends of the court. the rest of the team followed suit to shut down the Landers. Keep it up!!!! Record is now 19-1.
