here is the deal i don't know how the tiebreaker would work but look at it like this.walker valley beats mcminn central,howard,grundy and loses to sequoyah ok walker 3 and 1 in region.grundy beats howard and mcminn and sequoyah but loses to wallker ok grundy is 3 and 1 in region then sequoyah if they beat walker they beat mcminn and beat howard but lose to grundy sequoyah also 3 and 1 in region.how does the tiebreaker work? if it goes by overall record sequoyah should be safe as well as walker but grundy would suffer with their dificult schedule

it's a shame that teams in your great region like livingston academy and york institute will not get in the playoffs despite fine seasons and close losses while in 3a teams like mcminn central,pigeon forge and sullivan north will get in with 2 and 8 or 3 and 7 records and the fulton region will have scott,kingston or lenoir city with 5 and 5 or better be sitting at home too

this game is huge the biggest!!! why? the winner gets home game in playoff round 1 while the loser has a long travel to a tough team so that is that.the chiefs are great #42 is a fantastic running back but the chiefs need to pass more.

comcast in knoxville shows fairly good games last week webb played bearden then afterwards they showed some game from georgia or alabama 1 week after the fulton vs austin east game they showed the riverdale vs smyrna live it was great

horace maynard made the state playoffs in 92 or something they finished 7 and 4 with a loss in round 1 to gatlinburg pitman.that team was great they had not only 1 but 2 1,000 yard rushers that weren't stopped in that playoff game one of those backs got killed that summer when a neighbor roughed him up for riding harmlessly may i add a atv on his property his dad came by to deal with it the guy grabbed the man's son and his dad trying to shoot the neighbor shot and killed his kid instead.

greenback is a great team who ran into a great sequoyah team they will be back and playing 2 good bigger schools will help them down the road but hats off to greenback great luck this year

no.they are very good no doubt but they won't get by round 2 i think though anything is possible.the opposite region they play is much too strong for shs and if they get scott or lc they will beat them with the refs but then ac,ae or fulton no way jose.the problem with seymour is other than the weaker teams they have no offense too many turnovers they can't lean on their great d all the time if they cut off turnovers and penalities and get their o going shs could be dangerous

who will be the 2 maybe 3 teams out with a .500 or better record in class 3a region 4? all the teams really are great i remember last year macon and york both stayed home at 7 and 3 and played a heck of a game in the upperbowl bowl vs each other i seen it's headed that way again who will be left out livingston? york? upperman? smith? portland? anything could happen.

i watched the battle of mcminn county last night it was pretty bad again mcminn county is a great 5a school almost always deep in the playoffs while mcminn central has been down in 3a and trying to rebuild up i think central won last in 79 and the year they were state runner up county beat them up and in years past it hasn't even been close the gate is great fans and people of both teams are super great but it is time to end this?

hi.well not everyone "runs" up the score it's just the teams getting beat are so bad they can't even stop the winning teams 2nd or 3rd stringers and really they all practice hard so you just can't tell the guys who practice hard but don't play much not to score of course don't pass is a good gentleman like gesture.now i have heard of score running up like 1 year sunbright destroyed king's academy i think it was 68 to 0 they padded their stats and passed well into the 4th quarter but really that is a teams decision if you are going to play them and you get beat 99 to 0 don't complain. i also know when gordonsville beat red boiling springs a few weeks back 42 to 8 rbs scored and made a 2 point conversion then gordonsville got angry and put in the first stringers to score again and last night mcminn central got a field goal to avoid a shut out however mcminn county got angry and put in their first stringers to score yet again now that is distasteful but you know the coaches have the right to do that

although i must say a win is a win union county and claiborne are very very weak and you barely got by union
