One of the Problems at Blackman are the parents. They should stop bashing the coaches and criticizing them for being too tough on the players, because football is a tough game and the coaches have to be hard on the boys so that they will win. Also, they should stop bashing the play calling. Sure, coaches will make some bad calls during every game, but it is up to the players to execute and make things happen, Both on good and questionable calls.Even the best make mistakes. It seems like all of the parents have forgotten the kind of progress that these coaches have made in a span of just three years! That kind of progress is unheared of. As a graduate and former player for BHS, I know this, and I also know what the community thought of us when the program started. I think I might even still have the first ever DNJ preseason article that called us a "Hanful of Misfits". The Blaze have gone from a handful of Misfits to a state contender in just three years, and that is admirable.
