Johnson from Campbell Co. is going to be a Senior, not a Junior. I don't really know how all you people are leaving him off the list, I'm sure it's because you probably think last year was a fluke, but be ready for CC to be back in the playoffs again this year. Johnson squats 450, bench 300, PC 280, sub 4.5 40...as of right now. I look for Johnson to go over 2000 yards next year and be a serious player for All-State and lead the team to the playoffs, and hopefully win some games...something we couldnt do last year.

The 4 horseman of Campbell County. CLark Woods-66 tackles, 5 batted passes, 1 sack 38 solos and 2 safteys, Justin Mccloud-64 tackles , Jesse Bowman-151tackles,1 int, 1 saftey, and 58 solos and Mitchel Tipton-67 tackles.

The thing is...Wells at Campbell County...is definetly the coach of the year...this school has had more 0-10 seasons than seasons winning games...thats unofficial but im pretty sure thats right. he has put the cougars in their first playoff sopt ever...

One of the best games was Campbell County vs. Science Hill...The Cougars were down 28-12 going into the 4th quarter....they came back to win 30-28. To clinch their first winning season at 6-2 in school history. 30 years in the making.

Well....Seems like a team who was once big is having the problems my team has had for 30 years. Guys it's hard....People start talking about you...you begin to hear constantly after every game you lose...gosh you guy ssure play hard. The community begins to give up. lemme tell ya...Ive been playin the game for 11 years. The middle school i played at was a huge power, but when I reached middle school, the program hit rock bottom. We all stuck it out and stayed on the team. Once we got to high school...day after day for 3 years ....all I heard from the outsiders in school and in the community ...is that my school would never win and we will always be horrible..Once i reached my senior year..Myself and other seniors decided it was time for a change...Bearden being in this situation doesnt mean quit. You have tradition ...you have to remember what bearden football is about. you have to overcome adversity, be men, cause things arent gonna go your way to much now ...remember what made Bearden such a respected power to begin with and play like that program used to....Start getting ready for next season...try to win out ...it can be done...just do what your coached to do...open holes...tackle ....play technique football..and itllall come together...

Campbell County is by far the most surprising team in tn highschool football this season. This is a team who has never had a winning season in the 30 yr history of the school. As of right now they are 6-2 and getting ready to play Dobyns Bennett for 1st place in the region.

This is the funniest thing ever......CC schedule must be the worst one out there, considering we havent played anyone and its week 8....must be the worst region out there then huh?funny how people keep bringin it up..im guessin we need to call in de le salle, maybe carson newman, bring in utc....maybe that would make us playing someone....who knows?? im still baffled at the comment we havent played anyone......

Nick Lane hasnt played Lb hardly any this year, and I dont know where your coming up with DB lol. He backs up at the Defensive End spots. If you notice in games when Slover goes out. Woods goes to LB and Lane goes to DE.

Hmm...each time we had played Mo. East, South Doyle and Bearden(besides last year), and Science Hill. Seems that we had always lost. Looks to me like things can change over time.

Im not so sure about a riot, but I do know that this team will be classified as the greatest lol. If we make it to the playoffs. I say they will make a huge team picture, and make a monument of our RB CHris Johnson giving the heisman or something like that. I play for Campbell County, and I have to say Bearden wins this one. When we played South Doyle, yes it was in a monsoon, but once you hit them, they lay down. Last friday we hit Pickle and #6 and whoever else hard almost every single play. They might have layed down, but they got right back up. All I have to say is that the tough team wins. I suspect Bearden will hit and hit again. The lineman have to drive doyles front off of the ball and open holes for their rb. Your schedule reads 1-7, but if that doesnt mean anything. You might not be headed for a playoff game, but you have time to set the grounds for next season. All you have to do is believe in one another and that will get it done. Bearden by 3 touchdowns.

I see where your coming from kinda. A coach can only do so much. He makes the decisions and things like that. Your coach can only lead you though. He calls the plays. Thats about it. You say "Coach Hutchins got you to the second round of the playoffs." A coach doesnt get you anywhere. He tells you what to do. The players get you somewhere. If your team comes out in a football game(s) and plays together. That gets you somewhere. You have to realize. The coach doesnt play the game. The players do. Now im not sayin a coach has nothing to do with it,but how many coaches do you see suit up for the game? Its the players.

I would have to agree with you on this one. I play defensive end for Campbell County. It is extremely hard at times....especially when you have fullbacks and tailbacks leading on you while the tightend is reach blocking you...lol....I dont play in the up position though..

I see this game a high scoring game....If Jeff Co. can defend the SH pass, or if SH can defend the running game of Jeff Co. Im gonna take SH on this one. It helps us out a lot if SH wins.

Just to let you know...CC is everything but cocky. This team is serious. We will jsut have to see if we show up on friday night. We will continue to better our playthrough this weeks practice. But I can assure you, we are not cocky. We learned that after week 2.

Yes, I understand what your saying. The thing is, I say we shouldve beat Clinton becasue they had lost 17 straight. We turned the ball over 4 or 5 times. Yes, maybe they are improving. We also handed them the game on a silver platter. Thats fine though...like I said...we respect each other... thats al that matters

I'm really anxious to see this game. I feel Jeff County will win, but I havent seen Karns perfrom yet. Should be a good one. Maybe Karns can pull an upset. I'm not so sure yet. Shiverdecker for 285 vs. Cocke Co?.....impressive.....can Karns come close to slowing him down?
