  1. Why has South Doyle struggled so much this year after being decent or better the last two years. What happened?
  2. Maryville Red Rebels - 42 Knox-West Rebels - 10
  3. I agree... DB does not play a weak schedule at all. And I respect them for playing and beating MBA.
  4. Does anyone know... i kind of thought that maybe since it would the last game of the year it would put Jeff County ahead of DB but i don't know.... anyone???
  5. I agree with a lot of you all on Jeff Jennings, Jr. He's an awesome player on both sides of the ball. He is averaging over 11 yards per carry and has about 150 yards a game (at least). Is this isn't impressive enough he's also a straight A student. He's definitely an all around player.
  6. McMinn 27 William Blount 14 Should be a great game!
  7. DB anything but whipped Jeff Co. The score would show that but people who saw the game should know better. It was a hard fought battle all the way through. DB got big plays here and there to get the scores but did not drive on JC.
  8. The JC Pats have a lot of talent... Jeff Jennings Jr. - RB (Committed to Vandy) Scooter Houston - RB Parker Clement - QB Nick Mason - DT Tyler Brown - WR Desmond Reliford - LB All of these guys should have colleges headed their way.
  9. I agree with jcpatriot fan... The defensive ends and the D line as a whole are giving the QB too much time to find an open receiver. Our dbs are actually not bad at all. When we play worse teams we are usually in zone coverages and the receiver can run inbetween the zones. The reason DB lit us up so bad with passing was 1. They've got Lamon Williams. 2. Tyler Brown got that personal foul on him early in the 1st and it shook him up<--- (Lawyer's opinion but i agree). If they play DB again they will be able to stop the pass more effectively b/c they can see what they did in the first game. The 4-4 by itself can be a bad pass defense but it can be flexed into different formations for passing. I trust that the coaches for JC have everything under control.
  10. Yeah and if Lamon Williams hadn't of played against Jefferson County, then JC would have won. Dropped passes are a part of football. Why don't we just go look at all the "if's" of a game.
  11. I think Jeff County's offense is better b/c they can drive on you... DB usually relies on one big play... if they don't get it then the drive is dead.
  12. Why are DB fans on this post bragging?
  13. Keep it up Govs and you could get another shot at them in the playoffs. Very good peformance.
  14. poor Howard county.... Couldn't you at least have let them score a field goal?
  15. Jefferson County scores more points on Science Hill than their defense has allowed in 6 games (17) and wins this one 24-13!

Jefferson County 24 Science Hill 13 FINAL Where's that defense, Science Hill?
  17. What happened to Ooltewah? They were awesome last year... was it the loss of foster?
  18. Jefferson County runs it so much b/c they can, not b/c they have to. Jefferson County can throw the ball up and down the field if they wanted to and yes the team is that good. Jefferson County just has too much speed for Science Hill to stop them. You crowd the box we will run outside. You contain we will run inside. If you do both it will be a touchdown right down the middle to Doo Doo Brown. It's as simple as that.
  19. looks good to me... DB will win the season but I think Jeff County will beat them in the playoffs
  20. Sounds like DB's talent is gonna be replenished... better be extra careful in the near future.
  21. Sounds like Jeff County coaches need to get on here for the scouting report.
  22. Please son. I don't care how good you think Science Hill's defense is, they haven't really played a good team. Jefferson County's offense can NOT be stopped by this defense. There is just too much speed at every position for the Pats.
  23. We've kind of gotten off the subject again haven't we. Back to the game....
  24. Acuff is going to be an awesome receiver next year. He would have played last year but was put on the sidelines of the half the season with a broken collar bone. I agree Parker does look at different receivers but on occasion he will have his mind made up when he comes to the line, but like I said earlier I can see why b/c as Lawyer and Dirk said Tyler is the best receiver on the team by far. The other have their strongpoints.
