I agree. The lady Chargers have been plaing incredible basketball here as of late. I don't think the rebels will be able to adjust to the defense and I don't think they will be able to stop the offensive attack of the chargers. Look for Bellamy to crank it up another notch.

I look for Dyersburg to come out and play good basketball. They've got a great team this year and I don't see them being beaten at home. Unless they're playing someone like Westview. Dyersburg will win by 10 points.

This year is definitely Westview's year. I see them going to the boro. Westview is playing the best ball in Tn right now. They're not overlooking opponents and they're just plaing good basketball. Look for the lady chargers to continue this good ball playing.

This humbodlt team sounds like it could be a real threat come tourny time.I'm quite surprised that they beat Gibson Co. They must be a lot better than I expected.

I don't think this game will be as close as it has in years past. I think GC will dominate. Look for dudley to take control of the game early finishing with 25 points.

Gibson Co. is looking very scary right now.

I'm very proud of Latoya. She pratices hard (not to say that no one else does.) all the time. Since she is my sister, I know first hand how much she pratices. We used to get up early in the morning and play baskteball from about 9 in the morning until 9 at night. Westview will be very dominant this year. I look for them to trade games back and forth with Gibson Co. Obion Co. kinda worried me. The Roney sisters are very scary when they are both offensively hot.

Well pukebags will certainly be needed tonight. We all remember quite well what tragedy ocurred here last year. No team can be overlooked. The Chargers came into the game thinking that they had it made and Haywood came out during the 2nd half and proved them wrong. If we play like we're supposed to then this game most likely won't be even close. However if we play like we did last year.....then we all know what the result could be..... I feel sick....

I was kinda surprised that no one mentioned 13AA as one of the toughest regions in the state...especially considering how 7AA is down this year from where they usually are. Not to say that they're still not a force to be reckoned with, they're just not like they've been in years past.

It was nice to meet people like Jimbo44 and 7AAwatcher. They are truly some of the best basketball fans I've ever met and I definitely look forward to seeing them when Westview shows up in the Boro. As far as the tourney goes, I was extremely impressed with York. Brandi Brown was sensational. She handled the ball well, she shot the ball well. She did it all. Union City and Crockett Co. did about what I thought they'd do. Dyer Co. surprised me by making a big comeback to win over York. Westview, Gibson Co. and Obion Co. all did what I figured they'd do. Westview vs Gibson Co. , now that'll be a barn burner!

Houston High School has the best band. The sound that the band produces is enormous. I think they have the biggest High School band in the state. They have over 260 people!

I definitely agree with both of you. Being a charger fan, I know that they had practiced on it and they were a bit irritated because Westview always bring in more money than they do. Theres always more people at the Westview games than there are at the UTM games. That was immature and classless of them to purposely "sabotage" a high school football game. Theres just no excuse for acting that way. NEVER have I seen a field in that condition. ESPECIALLY UTM'S. I remember the year before last when we played Humbodlt the game was re-scheduled because of the condition of the field which was no where near as bad as it was friday night. I figured they wouldn't even let us play on it when I first got to the stadium. If they're that mad about this situation then perhaps they need to get a coach who actually knows what he's doing. And they could start recruiting GOOD players. Westview should not tolerate this kinda of foolishness. As you said before, the community should get behind the chargers and build a stadium for Westview. Theres a lot of land surrounding the school on which they could build a stadium. This school does alot around the town. The band for instance performs at all the events that they are asked to perform at. They even performed at a UTM game last year when UTM was on fall break. Something needs to be done about this.

Gibson Co. seems to be back to the same ol same ol. I heard that they wouldn't be that good this year. Seems like I was wrong. Considering how they played against USJ, how do you think they'll stack up against Livingston Academy?

Congratulations Milan on a hard fought victory. You guys came with your "A" game and deserve to go on. Good luck next week against Carver. If you guys play with the fire that you played with on Friday night, theres no one in the state that can hang with you.

If you were actually at the game you noticed that Westview played like Milan has been playing most of the season. LIKE CRAP. However its over now. Milan won Westview lost. Congratulations and good luck next week against Carver.

Theres been a lot of trash talk on here the past couple of days. I think that if people would quit downing the other team and players this would be a lot more enjoyable. Instead of talking about the past, lets focus on tomorrow night, after all that is what this post is about. Tomorrow night's game is probably going to be the biggest game in the state. The atmosphere is going to be incredible. I hope the game will be injury free and I wish the Chargers luck.

I'm very confident that the chargers will come out on top. Especially if they play like they've been playing. The one thing that the chargers have that Milan doesn't is consistency. Westview has played good football every week since the lost to Milan. Another key factor is where the game is being played. Westview has played especially well at home. It'll be twice as tough for the bulldogs to get a victory in Martin. This will definitely be one of the best games of the year.
