First of all, having lived in both Camden and Martin, Camden is just as safe as Martin is. So quit worrying about the safety in Camden. Also, didn't Camden beat up on Martin earlier this year? Yes they did, because I was there. I know Martin has gotten better since then, but so has Camden. Of course I am biased but I'm still picking Camden to win this game by at least two touchdowns. It will be a great game as most are once the playoffs come around. Martin couldn't stop the running game last time so they better make some adjustments before they come into Camden. I just hope I can make it to this game because I know how good it will be. Good luck to both teams Friday night!!

I agree 100% with you TNTradition. The game should have been over when DC hit the first basket (in the final 15 seconds) to go down by 1. Worst officiating game I've ever seen. Worst clockkeeping I've ever seen. The TSSAA needs to do something about this game because CPA got absolutely screwed. I feel bad for the seniors on that team for having to suffer through bullcrap to end their careers. Congratulations to CPA on a great season and a great win. Congratulations to DC too because they played great and somehow found a way to actually win. It was a great game for anyone to watch but I wish the TSSAA was smart enough to do the right thing about the clock and the outcome. But then again I guess that's what happens when they run things, everything is wrong and screwed up.

Camden Don't remember the year it was around 2001 or 2002 but we played JCS at home they were ranked #5 in the state and it was during our down years. It was cold and rainy and we pulled out a 13-10 victory in overtime with Jonathan Hayes scoring the game winning TD. This year against Huntingdon. Big rivalry game with a large crowd. They had us up 6-0 all the way til we blocked a punt and ran it in for a TD. One of the best games I've ever seen. Didn't see it but I've heard the story a few times. I think it was in '77 once again against Huntingdon. My dad caught the game winning TD in the final seconds of the game. Yeah I've heard it a lot.

Should be a great game next week. Save a small section on the Milan side for some Camden boys. We're pullin for ya'll. Or maybe we'll just show up at 5:00 cause I know there's gonna be a crowd. Good luck to the Bulldogs so we can represent West Tennessee in the 'boro!

I thought the tourney was in Lexington. How are the last 4 seeds playin out. I know we are having a really bad year so we will probably get the 7 seed. I don't think Lexington will have too much of a problem winning the district.

usj has a solid team and camden doesn't. we just aren't hitting the ball right now. celebrating a win over camden is nothing to brag about if you are usj. yall have a good team and shouldn't want to brag about beating us.

We all seem to be biased here. Of course being from Camden, I would take Boyd over Smith. If Boyd carried the ball as much as Smith does then he would have a lot more yards. They are both great backs and either one would be a huge plus for any team. Good luck to both in their future. Camden probably won't have this good of a year in a while. The next two years we will be contenders but I don't think we will see another 3rd round game for years to come. Just my opinion.

Milan won't win state this year. They are not as good as last year. Yeah ya'll beat Lexington who lost to us and yeah we lost to Riverside, but that doesnt mean anything in baseball. You're guaranteed nothing in baseball. Milan will make a run but it won't be good enough.

Riverside will play at Camden tomorrow at 5:00. Friday McKenzie and Lexington will play then the winner of Camden game will play Milan. Games will continue on Monday.

Yes it's correct. It was one heck of a ballgame. A total of 7 HR's were hit...Keck had 3, Markham had 2, Jake Jones had 1, and Chad Horton had 1. In the first 3 innings Lexington got up to a 6-0 lead but we never gave up and battled back and it went into extra innings. It was decided in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs when Chad Horton hit a walk off homerun to end it. It was a great game for anyone to watch. One of the most exciting games I've ever been a part of.

I don't know where you heard this from but Jake Lumpkin doesn't play baseball anymore.

White House has a nice facility but baylor boy is right. I played there in the summer and the infield grass was horrible. The outfield was hilly and when it rains the dugout gets flooded where we have to jump to get to the benches. It has nice bleachers and a nice pressbox but they need to work on the field some more. It was either Donelson Christian or Friendship Christian we played at and whichever one it was has a nice field and the home dugout has a big clubhouse or somthing...I don't know but it's something a country boy from Camden like me has never seen before.

That's just what our coach said the time was...whether he's right or not I don't know. But my guess is that he's a bit off. He is consistant running 6.55 or 6.60.

Zack Brazzell from Camden runs around a 6.6...I've seen him run a 6.33

I think that Lexington will be good but not like years past. I don't know much about them but I think we will hang with them this year. Camden only lost two players last year and I think overall we have improved. Markham and Chandler will be good 1-2 starters and Jake Jones and sophomore Ben Earp will have good years at the 3-4 spots. Offensively we should have a good all round lineup 1-9. We have a little inexperience at a couple of key positions but I think that we will improve greatly and have a good season. There will be some good games played this year in our district.

I think that Milan will be the team to beat in AA this year but I don't think they'll be as good as last year. They still got good talent and one of the best coaches.

I watched the Milan-Huntingdon games last year in H-town and the 2nd one was a great one. I think this Friday's game will be even better. Either team can win. I think it will come down to the last few minutes of the game. Does anyone know how to get to the Milan field from Camden? Please let me know I want to see one of the best games, if not THE best game of the year.

Lexington will probably win the region easily. Riverside and McKenzie won't be worried about and Milan has lost a lot from what I hear. Camden will be somewhat of a contender but that Turner kid, Buckley, and Gardner shouldn't have any problems with us. Lexington will have a great year.

Great game next week. Everybody that comes will get their moneys worth. But I say Camden by 3.

Yall's coach said we ain't physical....Heath Yoder showed #20 what physical was on the first play. Put that one hitta quitta on him. Fairview ain't got nothin on us. The only reason why it wasn't any worse is because we kept makin dumb penalties. If we come out with that intensity next week then Huntingdon's gonna have a REALLY hard time with us. It's gonna be one heck of a game next week. But tonight it looked like Fairview got scared. We were layin the licks on yall like it was nothin. Heath Yoder played one heck of a game and Josh Boyd had a ton of yards. All yall did this week was talk crap...yall ain't nothin. Don't talk crap when you can't back it up. ONE HITTA QUITTA

I don't think those years were all about the coaching. The past 5 years this year's senior, junior, sophomore, freshman, and 8th grade class have been very successful in junior high, only losing 3 or 4 games in 5 years, and now we are 6-1. That shows how good of athletes we have. About 8 years ago or whenever, heck I don't even remember I was too young, we didn't have as good of athletes so we didn't have that good of years. Our football program is on the rise for a few years but I think we will end up being like we used to be in about 3 years but I don't know. What matters right now is this year and no other year. This team is one of the best to ever play in Camden. We are hosting a playoff game for the first time EVER!!! We don't need to think about what was, or what could be...all we should care about is what is. We have the potential to beat many 2A teams in the state right now and we're still talking about 7 years ago...and the sad thing is we're arguing about it. This year's team is probably the best ever and we don't need to be talking about some of the worst teams ever. We have some great coaches and some great players. I just hope we can keep these coaches. As for moving into Middle Tennessee, I don't think we should but if that's what happens then so what we can play with them. We won't be dominant by no means but we will be competitive like we are now. But we just need to worry about this year first.

haha I bet you think you're special. j/k. But seriously I know y'all are havin a "down" year (5-5 is pretty good for us). We are havin a great year and let us enjoy it....we don't have many great years here in Camden.

We have a chance to get past Huntingdon...I'm not saying we will but we got a good chance. Milan won't even have a shot to beat them except next week when H-town will beat the heck out of y'all.

H-town will stay focused and will win by 3 tds. Milan doesn't have a chance....just my opinion.
