Is there a rule that says the foul count is supposed to be the same? If one team fouls more shouldnt they be called for more fouls? Is an official supposed to ignore fouls to make sure the foul count stays even?

Why haven't you answered the question as to why are the privates opposed to the idea of competing solely against other private schools. You do have one thing right I don't like the privates. You've done nothing to destroy that or to destroy any complaints that I and many across this state have against them either. A select few are making the decisions against what the majority want and that is a complete split of public and private schools.

He aint the radio announcer. The radio announcer didnt take offense to it either, he just accepts it just as he accepts the TSSAA turning a deaf ear and a blind eye to the goings on at private schools all across the state.

Instead of splitting or kicking the privates out of the TSSAA why don't the small public schools leave the TSSAA and start their own association. Let the TSSAA have their privates and let them play each other.

I'd love to see my MPHS Tigers contend for a state championship and they have a good chance but I'm sure some private school somewhere is putting together the pieces to make a run.

I wonder how the TSSAA would like it if no public school supporter attended the 1a title game between the 2 private schools. They should consider moving the 1a title game to the same weekend as the dII title games anyways.

Still looking for an answer. Why do the private schools oppose the idea of competing against each other? Public schools not good enough for you to send your kids to so why do you insist on competing against public schools?

No offense but you really would have to know Marco. I'm sure he was frustrated. The JCS defense done a job on our offense that hasn't been done all year. He's 16 he's going to show some frustration. Heck I'm 39 and I showed plenty. I hope I never stoop to the level of heckling teenage kids. As for pressure on Marco, sure we depended on him a bunch and he's proven himself to be more than capable of doing everything that we expected and more. I dont think you can find a single MP fan thats disappointed in Marco's performance or his effort last night. Nor are we disappointed in any of the Tiger footballers' efforts. Are we disappointed in the result of the game,yes but we're nothing but proud of each and every player on the MP roster. This team pulled together more than any team this town has ever witnessed. We graduated 32 players the previous 2 seasons, thats a ton for a single A public school team. Among those 32 players that graduated were some outstanding players that put up huge numbers. This years group wasnt supposed to compare to the previous 2 years but ended up exceeding them and advancing further than any team in MP school history. Fan pressure, frustration, or team not pulling together was not a problem. We just ran into a team that we didnt have an answer for. Let me check that, we do have an answer for them but the TSSAA isnt listening.

I have that same feeling. Next years class thru 3 years is 34-6 with 3 region championships. I think region championship number 4 is a great possibility and who knows what else they might win.

this senior class went 42-9, with 3 region championships. Winningest class in school history by far.
