John Harvey of MBA should definitely be up there; he won a national championship at Virginia and was an all american in highschool.

Tate and Gift for MBA are top notch FOGO guys and are both seniors, as well as McCallie's Brakebill, who is quite good at facing off himself

well bigrusn, looks like you were a bit off in your predictions, it seems MBA edged out usn tonight (20-4), so it looks like the big red are on a role going into the second weekend. I guess we'll just have to see who comes out on top in the end.

MBA does look very strong for next year; with excelent coaching, at least half of the starting roster being underclassmen, and many of these returning players being college prospects. Keep an eye out especially for the three attackmen, all returning, Ryan Burns and Clay Caroland rising seniors and Chris Cahill, rising sophmore, who will certainly be a canicadate for all-american in the future. Also the D and Middies are returning for the mostpart and all seem to be constantyly improving. The only question mark is at goalie, losing David Regan, however the Big red will look to either a three year varsity player or upcoming jv player to step up in the goal.

Well guys, Looks like the Big Red pulled it through against the tonradoes. MBA-11, McCallie-10 in sudden death overtime. David Regan came up with a huge save, and in transition, Hunter Armistead nailed a midrange shot as the rest of the MBA team rushed. The game was a great effort by the whole team, as well as McCAllie, but it was obvious that the big red defense was not quite as slow as some of yall said!

Don't limit them to the best public or private school. No doubt, they are the best team on any level...including the Titans. And nationwide, no high school could beat MBA...most junior colleges would fall to the BIG RED also. They are the best ever! You happy now? MBA showed that they were a very talented team on Friday and all of this year. But the best team in the state usually wouldnt lose a big game. True, but the big red probably would and should have won that game if it was not for a last second horrible call by the refs.

However much I doubt this, it may be true. But if the refs did have a different time than the one on the clock they definitely should have told the teams, changed the time on the clock, and told the fans so that all of this controversy would not have taken place.

that is bull!!! I was at the game last night and I saw the clock run out before the snap, there were at least 13 BA players on the field, and BA was not set!!! MBA got gyped and it seemed increadably clear to me that in other aspects of the game other than that one part, that the refs were extremely partial, and it almost seems like they paid the refs!

I propose a lacrosse forum under the message boards on this web site. I think that many people will use it because is one of the fastest growing sport in Tennessee, and I think that many people would like to learn more about it.

My thoughts are that you didn't take the time to read how these rankings are arrived at. They are not opinions, like most polls, but are what they say they are: the strength of your schedule and your success against that schedule Thanks for the explanation coach, but is CBHS's strenght of schedule really that much greater than MBA's

Whatever, I personally hate DCA, but I would give the benifit of the doubt as being the #1 team in D-I. However CPA will probably put up a good fight this friday and posibly win, go Lions! But anyways, these wild cats you are talking about are most likely not even in the top 3 in D-I

Why is Christian Brothers ranked over MBA? After all MBA shut them down two weeks ago on their home turf. Clearly this poll is completely wrong as to the what the actual rankings should be! Your thoughts?

MBA, I'm sure that Lincoln county would put up a good fight, but I don't think that there is anybody in the state that can overpower this year

Acutally auri enrolled in the MBA 7th grade but dropped out after the first quarter.

BA only beat MBA in last year's freshmen game because at the 8th grade level at MBA the football is not as big of a deal as at the Freshmen level, however If the BA had a freshmen team then there is no question in my mind that MBA would have soundly defeated them. The Big Red Freshmen worked constantly all summer and there is no doubt that MBA matches BA in talent, but more importantly in work ethic.
