Ok Maryville fans I will give you an unbiased perspective of White County as a Region 4-4A observer.. First of all,discount ANY comment White County fans have made on here.. They are THE MOST DELUSIONAL fans on EARTH.. No exaggeration at all either..They could get beaten by USC by 128 points and have 3 excuses why the refs cost them, 2 injuries that cost them and swear up an down that they are better than them..Their fullback Dell Lewis Jr. is a 270 pound fullback, who they say is the best in the sountheast and EVERYONE wants him.. Hes not listed on ANY recruiting service ANYWHERE..They say he runs like a 4.6 its more like a 4.9 but just hit him low and he will go down, he should be a worry to you because their line will be dominated by your front.. They have a cocky WR JJ Taylor who is pretty good but is easily rattled and very undisciplined..Make sure he's covered through the air because he is the only WR they look for..They also try to throw to Lewis out of the backfield..This should be a blowout..49-0

This is a very big game for both teams...Cleveland is fighting for a playoff spot while Hixson is trying to set up a region championship game against Red Bank week 10..How big would that be?? This game has a big impact on the playoffs and its also Clevelands Senior Night...Is Will Adams out?

It's down to a 5 team race for the 4 playoff spots with Central,Brainerd,and Walker Valley having all lost their 4th region game Friday. There are 2 HUGE region games this week that will have a big impact on the playoffs in Hixson vs Cleveland and Red Bank vs Rhea County.. Rhea County has the toughest road left to the playoffs with Red Bank,Cleveland,and White County left to play..The Cleveland vs Rhea game in two weeks will most likely determine the 4th playoff spot in my opinion. That is a rediculous statement..Theyt way you tackle a 280 pound running back is by hitting him in the legs..A player got a direct hit on his legs and he hurt his ankle..It's not like he was hurt in a pile or something...I dont even know how JJ got hurt but you White County fans need to take this loss in stride, forget about it, and focus on Brainerd who has enough talent to win the game if they play inspired football

I wouldnt say White County ever had an answer for the Wing T ...Hixson scored 3 TD's before half and 2 after halftime..The game really was closer than it should have been..Hixson didnt convert 1 PAT and allowed a kickoff return TD..35-14 was the more realistic score of the the offense vs defense

This Hixson team is very well conditioned...Many players go both ways and show no sign of fatigue

From what ive seen no one has underestimated White County..They are ranked 13th in the state so i dont see how you say you are getting no love? I do not see White County blowing out Hixson though..Hixson is sound defensively and hasnt allowed a big rushing performance all season..It will probably be a low scoring game and should be a good one to watch...One of the top 3 biggest games of the year for region 4-4A
