Unforturnately for everyone - it doesn't matter who you or I are for, you can say anything about anybody as along as it is fairly clean. Whether it has any true meaning or not, encouraging or discouraging, I'm sure you'll just change your name and talk the same old crap if you get thrown off. The only thing you will dominate is the PORCELAIN THRONE.

You talk of domination one minute and then in the next thread all you can do is cry about the players and coach problems that both the girls and boys teams are having. How can you dominate when you can't even unite your own team. T'dog and Krich will leave you in the dust when the real fight begins.

I've looked at the box scores for Cloudland and Byrd hasn't been scoring very much - what does anyone think is the problem?

Cloudland always brings their "A" game when they play Unaka. The rivalry between the two teams always makes for a great game.

The only thing the King knows how to do is talk smack and try to make everyone mad. Your posts are not a great reflection on the Lady Landers, maybe you should rethink before you post under whichever name you choose.

Homer, are you the same one that was trying to cause trouble for some teachers and coaches in the city system and don't you ref?

I would like to know why the refs have set on go to call technicals so easily at times and then let somethings just pass. I have attended several games and if a player questions a call not blatantly just asks their has been a technical called. Our coach has been threatened for questioning a call - once for just asking what the call was - I don't get why they are so free with the technicals and then in the same game a player jumps up and down and screams over a call and nothing is called. We were told they were going to not take anything off anyone this year. But, I think if a gesture (such as a walking motion) or a question ask, that that is a little extreme to call a technical on a player. I thought those were for extreme instances but I've seen one or two called in almost every game I have watched this year. Just curious as to the reasoning.

Heard from others Pickett played very well and Unaka didn't play as well as they could or should have. The way it sounded the referrees sat on GO to call Technicals over any comment or action made towards a call but didn't seem as if they were quite as strick with Pickett. Just what I heard.

I believe this was listed wrong and is an away game. Whaley will be tough inside and Caldwell can shot the ball. UHS will have to play good ball. Good Luck Rangers!

I personally know people that went to EHS and couldn't hardly read or write papers for college, but still played sports and graduated. Your gonna learn if you want to learn. Yes, there are more programs and variety in the city but as stated they have one school to keep up while the county has four in the outlying areas. Yes, I know teachers that have sent their kids to the city and I know teachers that have brought their kids back into the county system as well. I think what frustrates everyone is saying that going to the city system is going to guarantee you a good look by a larger college or better grades. You have to be good in whatever sport and have the size their looking for to garner a look and your team has to have somewhat of a reasonable season. I don't begrudge where a child wants to go to school but I think we just get tired of hearing how great the city is when their enrollment has dropped drastically in the last 10 years some being because kids have attended the school in the area they live. Even though it's called Elizabethon High School it's still in CARTER COUNTY - Sorry! "Can't we all just get along?"

I don't think anybody is jealous, just making a statement. And I don't think anybody's program is going to fall apart from the soph playing or not playing for them. I think everyone wishes him the best if that is what he wanted.
