very true as well. there has been lots of coaching moves being made in the county. I know this is a boys board but with all the talk about the middle schools does anyone know who got the girls' jobs

I would venture to guess that they have already made the hire but not the announcement. Remember Rutherford County schools just came off of spring break yesterday

I look for CSAS to make a run hopefully a long with getting up a ton of shots hopefully they will get in the weight room as well. Maybe Coach Dragoo will put them on the cross country/weight lifting program he had us on when I was in high school

Unless you know something I dont I would bet my paycheck that Tennessee Temple wont make it to murfreesboro next year. heck they didnt make it past the district this year

so now that the season is officially over I guess the talks of open positions is really about to heat up. since Rutherford County is on spring break i guess we wont hear anything until next week at the earliest

yes there are waaay too many schools in chattanooga for the amount of people that live there. the talent is all spread out over the city. I also think its more to it than that though

I think the reason being is because with rutherford county havig 10 middle schools next year basically every school has at least one feeder program so it is going to have an affect on district 7AAA

As a native Chattanoogan I want to root for Grace but knowing that my CSAS patriots beat Grace 3 times this year and lost to Clarksville Academy today i dont know who to root for lol

yep and if they really are in district 9a it wont be hard to get out of that district boys basketball is not al lthat good to me in that district

that is true. should be interesting. like I said before this all will only help the 7aaa because these middle school coaches are going to have to really coach to compete, because I think the days have stacked middle school teams is over

oakland middle has no tradition. looking at the zone lines most kids who would go to central will be zoned for buchanan. plus a lot of kids from buchanan will still go to oakland high school

In the long run it was probably the right choice buchanan will get a lot of athletes in the long run

Ill answer that for you and live in Rutherford Co. if melrose took their two best players off the team for most of the year no they wouldnt have been as successful but you have to realize that melrose plays in a much tougher district and region. outside of siegel and oakland no one in Siegels region could even think about playing with melrose or white station or memphis central or southwind, so thats a bad comparison
