Does anyone know how many times Farragut has sent Hendersonville home at the state? I have seen them send them home twice in 3 years. I read that the Commandos have been to State 7 years stright.

From what I saw on the web site. This may be the smallest group of TN SR wrestlers to attend the event in years. How far was Mr. Patrick Marchetti from placing? It looked like he won a few matches before getting knocked out. Congrats to Mr Young that placed in the top 8! That makes him an All American. Is this a 1st for Ooltewah?

So does this mean that Justin Cash will not be at the NHSCA Sr National Wrestling Championships?

Congrats on your great finish! Nice post! It's great to see young men giving back to the sport. Your HS and College wrestling career has been fun to watch. I had my matches at 145 my Jr yr against Tony Moss in those days. He never beat me but always a great match. I was the 138-145 for Madison in 78-79. I had best match at the Trojan Tourney that year. I don't know about take downs but I bet when the Rams and Trojans faced each other we set some records for the number so switchs in a match. Great Schools and communities back then.

Thanks I did not know that. Small world. I went against his teams and grapplers in the late 70's. (They had hot mat girls) I miss those small schools. Madison and Goodletsville were big rivals back then. I remember the CH fans as being cool and the Irsih at the same event as cool cats. So let's just go on and police our out of control parents. Every team has a few. Been there and have the T-Shirt.
