  1. Hey, I'm just stating the obivous. Have you ever heard me say Lexington's schedule isn't soft? I hope they put them through the gauntlet next year to get them ready for the tounaments. Heck, I'd much rather be in a district with you guys than North Side. We were in their district when I was in high school, no thanks. I'm just having some fun with the "Green Tigers,"as Coach Stowe always calls them. But the 9/10 and 11/12 regional allignment makes little to no sense to me.
  2. District 12 next year: Bolivar Central Camden Chester County Jackson South Side Lexington Liberty Magnet McNairy Central District 11 next year: Cheatham County Creek Wood Fairview Harpeth Montgomery Central Stewart County Sycamore Waverly Now, what I find really funny is that for Lexington and Camden to get to Bolivar next year for our games, we're going to have to drive past North Side and USJ to get there. While I am at it, let me post District 14 teams: Covington Fayette-Ware Haywood County Jackson Northside Ripley Univ. School Jackson Now, I know this has already been exhausted and I am not 100% sure how districts are formed, I do know Bolivar's principal is on the TSSAA board of control.......and I know the region/sub-state Bolivar will be in is going to be a heckuva lot easier than the Memphis alternative, which geographically speaking, is a much, much better fir for Bolivar..........which makes me wonder, which school really is trying to find the easy schedule? I'm this far into it so let add something here. Let us look at districts 9 and 10: District: 9 CPA David Lipscomb Ezell-Harding Franklin Road Academy Hume-Fogg MLK Pearl-Cohn (side note, I look forward to the Nashville private schools visiting Pearl-Cohn, that will be funny) District 10: Giles County Lewis County Loretto Marshall County Page Spring Hill Now, once again geographically speaking, should district 10 not be district 11 and district 11 be district 10 from a travel purpose standpoint? Correct me if I am wrong, but districts 9/11 and districts 10/12 seems to make much more logical "regions" than what will actually be. So once again, what principal has power, and who looks like they are tring to avoid the big boys for as long as possible come tournament time?
  3. Just a few thoughts. First of all, I could probably pick out stuff about each of your respective schools and coaches and bad mouth them. Yes, some of the sudents are idiots, I mean tell me a 14-18 year old in high school that isn't, but the coaches and players have nothing to do with that. There is no sense in dogging either. If you want to attack individuals that post on here, go ahead, but lay off the players and coaches. Second, I did think Lexington could win, but I knew it would require a 40%+ shooting night from behing to ark to do it. You live by it, you die by it. It holds true at all levels. When I heard 6-23, I knew it was over. Third, They are not as good as the lunatics make them out to be, nor are they as overrated as you guys try to make them. The fact of the matter is that Region 6 is loaded, and if any of these 4 teams were in regions 1-4, they would just about be guaranteed a trip to Murfreesboro. They had a great season and don't deserve any of the garbage they are getting on here today.
  4. Shoot. Well, looks like I don't have to worry about making it home for the game now on Thursday.
  5. Keep the reports up man. I ain't there and need somehow to keep up with them.
  6. Once again, if you are so good at baseball, why aren't you playing in a major D-1 conference somewhere? And I would hope that a team as great as Milan was last year could handle a team that started was it 6 guys that were sophomores and younger? I'm just using your logic about Lexington's basketball scheduling with my Farragut comment. Oh yeah, as for the game istelf. Lexington in a close one. And btowntigers knows my prediction if a Lexington/Bolivar game does happen.
  7. You know what my friend, as much as you talk about Mack and his cockiness and bash him, you are probably the single cockiest person on coacht. Congradulations. All we ever do is hear about your dominating performance on the baseball field and your ring. To be honest, I could care less as could every other person whether they love or hate Lexington. If Milan was so much better than everyone in AA, then you guys should have scheduled a 2 game set with Farragut, a real baseball team. To be as great as you say you are, you should at minimum be playing SEC baseball right now. Surely some team would want the MVP (from all I have gathered from your posts) from the AA state champs last year. Mack plays his butt off every game. Willie Kemp is a great player, and is a better athlete than Mack. There is probably only one player in West TN better than Kemp, and that would be Reginald Delk. Mack is a good point guard. He's probably one of the top 5 in West TN.
  8. All right, don't say you weren't warned. Coach don't matter much on if fans get kicked out or not. I see you've decided on a new name.
  9. Emmo, If the refs are coming from Nashville then you better tell the Mayor and his buddies to tone it down a little or they won't see the end of the first quarter. Most refs areound here have a reputation of not liking to be harassed by the crowd and don't like it when people yell at them.
  10. I'll say this. If Lexington doesn't have a better game inside than they did against Milan then McNairy has a good shot at winning.
  11. C'mon! No posts? I am disappointed.
  12. It's finally here! After months of trash talking from all sides, ok three sides, it's time to put up or shut up. We've all heard from Bolivar and Lexington, but Humboldt and Liberty fans have been relatively quiet throughout. I figure that 2 of these 4 are going to advance to sub-state, and that everyone can agree on that. Tell who you think is going to win this, a rational reason why, and a summary of your team. Let the games begin!
  13. Who won boys 4A with Dresden and Caywood?
  14. I'd be willing to wager I know which one you were too. And to all the Lunatics, first time I got to see you last night and I thought that you guys were great. I have never seen a wave at a high school basketball game.
  15. Kentucky? Man, I'd like to see the expense report on that recruiting visit. I'm sorry, I had to say it. I just had to. No harm intended.
  16. How about you just stay on the other side of the river until substate?
  17. I've been thinking it but not said it all season.
  18. Please tell me where I said it was ok to use steroids? Man, you like to make assumptions. I just said that if they did take steroids, it wasn't against the rules of the game until now. There is nothing that can be done against them. I just find it haliarious now how all of America has vilinized all the athletes that we were worshiping less than a year ago because of some idiot who is jealous because we stopped worshiping him and needs money decides to bring everyone else down with him. You can't tell me that this one book or sequence of events suddenly made you see the light that players in baseball used steroids. The fact is that no one cared because it was trendy to watch a guy hit a baseball 500 feet and now the trendy thing to do is ostracize these same players because they "diminshed the integrity of the game."
  19. 1. They can't be banned from baseball because even if they did it, there was no rule in baseball saying they couldn't use steroids. Technically, even if they did, it was legal until last season and the only reason there is an uproar now is because of BALCO. 2. I skimmed part of his book today in a bookstore, and the man has an agenda. Probably because he is broke and jealous that he won't be in Cooperstown because he was too lazy to really become the player he should have become and the fact that his lasting legacy will be having a ball bounce off his head for a homerun or missing a season becuase he threw out his arm trying to pitch one night. Not to mention it read as if written by a 3rd grader 3. Until you give me leaked grand jury testimony or other evidence, as far as I am concerned, only Bonds, the Giambi brothers, Sheffield, Canseco, and Caminitti are the only MLB players who have used steroids.
  20. How about the winner get free membership for a year? (Kidding) New England - 30 Philly - 14 MVP - Got to go with Brady
  21. He wants to be a head coach and he thinks that being an NFL assistant will give him the final resume piece to be one. I can't understand why no one would give him a chance now. Actually, I do, but that is another story. I couldn't believe Stanford passed this guy up. On the surface level, he seems amazing.
  22. Anybody else hear that the Titans are going to interview Norm Chow for the offensive coordinator?
  23. I'm pumped. This is the most excited I have been about a recruiting class ever. I like how our D-linemen and linebackers all look mean. I hope hope they all put their egos aside, and things could be great for the next little bit.
